Following is my standing on MF. Can you please guide me on this? Also if a fund is not performing, how long do i wait before i switch to a different scheme/ mf? I have been investing for past 4 years

I have the following investments in MF since few years ... should i continue or switch to some other MFs...please advise ICICI Prudential MF multi asset fund - growth - 89K multi asset fund DP growth - 1.18L bluechip growth - SIP 2500/- HDFC MF hdfc top 100 DP - growth - 70K hdfc infrastructure DP - growth 25K IDFC MF IDFC infra growth direct - 20K IDFC bond fund IP Gr - dir - 10k IDFC bond fund MT Gr - dir - 10k IDFC ASBF - direct - plan A growth - 10k

Ans: SBI Multi Asset Allocation Fund - Growth is a better option in hybrid multi- asset and Axis Bluechip Fund – Growth is better option in Large-cap

UTI Equity Fund – Growth is a better option in Multi-cap

Sectoral Infra Funds can be avoided; instead diversified equity funds with higher infra exposure can be considered

Rest of the funds are fine.

I have invested my money in MF and I am continuing for last couple of years but am not seeing good growth so kindly advise me whether I should continue with same funds or switch over to some other fund. The funds are: 1. Aditya Birla Sun Life Equity Advantage Fund – Gr: Monthly 1500 2. DSP Midcap Fund - Reg Gr: Monthly 2000 3. HDFC Taxsaver – Gr: Monthly 1500 Also I have invested in SBI Midcap Fund Gr -- 70K for last 4 years so I would like to know whether I should be keeping in the same fund or change the fund.

Ans: Decide if you want to take JEE again or join a college this year.
Look at state counseling options for government colleges.

My son got 93.10 percentile..we belong to obc NCL..wt is the expected category rank for him??he can get seat in tier 2 nit in any branch??

Ans: With 93.10 percentile in JEE Mains 2025 and OBC-NCL category, your son's expected category rank would be around 40,000 - 45,000 (CRL) and 10,000 - 12,000 (OBC-NCL Rank).
Yes, he has a chance of getting a seat in lower branches in Tier-2 NITs, especially in later rounds of JoSAA and CSAB counseling.
