I have invested in Coal india ltd, SUMITOMO CHEMI & Future retail. Do I need to sell or hold?

Ans: Coal India is good dividen paying stock, so you can hold if interested in investing in dividend paying stocks. You may hold Sumichem and Future retail too.

have 1000 shares of Coal India @Rs 154/- Please advise if i should hold for a long term

Ans: Coal India is a great PSU with a fantastic dividend yield.
Increasing Revenue every quarter for the past 2 quarters
Strong cash generating ability from core business - Improving Cash Flow from operation for last 2 years
Annual Net Profits improving for last 2 years
Book Value per share Improving for last 2 years
Data is also good, hold it for atleast 5years.

I have taken a policy from SBI Life insurance Retire Smart plan. The policy is for 10 years with a premium payment for 5 years. I have taken the policy in February 2020 and with this month 5 yearsare completed. Now, I want to come out of this. How can I come out with minimum loss.? Can I surrender or close?

Ans: Hello;

Even if you surrender now you can get 60% of your fund value, after deducting charges, and for the balance 40% you have buy an annuity from SBI Life.

This is as per terms and conditions mentioned in the brochure of this plan.

With 97.7 %tile, under OBC-NCL, female category, she may get admission in one of the NITs but not surely in Trichy. You may have to compromise the NIT and branch.

For the All India Quota (AIQ) in NEET, only the central OBC-NCL list is considered. If your OBC-NCL certificate is from your state but your caste is not in the central OBC list, then it will not be valid for AIQ reservations. If your caste is in both the state and central OBC lists, apply for a central OBC-NCL certificate to use it for AIQ in NEET.

Under the ST category, your son can get admission to one of the NITs. But the chances of getting AI+ML may be challenging. Hence keep other branches' options open. Best of luck to your son.
