Considering a female candidate, try to reconsider the mechanical and production-related branches. Hence, ECE/VLSI at NIT Jalandhar, EEE at NIT Calicut, or CSE (Dual) at NIT Hamirpur are better fits. Choose CSE (Dual) at NIT Hamirpur if she prefers coding/tech, or ECE/VLSI if she's more inclined toward electronics and design. Finally, CSE (Dual) at NIT Hamirpur is the best choice you can go with for your daughter. The final decision will be yours.

PCMB is more demanding because of the extra subject, and it keeps more career options open early on. PCMC is better if she prefers technology, engineering, or computer-related fields, as it provides a deeper focus on programming and computational thinking. Computer skills can be learned from any source, but opportunities with biology may be limited. The recommendation is to choose PCMB over PCMC.
