my mother aged 72 years has a constant pain between the right scapula and the spine at back. She is diabetic since 30 years but quite active. Doctors say it is due to bone weaking and some said it is due to arthritis etc . but no correct diagnosis was possible. she is medicated using pain killer and supplements which has been stopped due to negative results on the pain. Kindly advise

Hello Dr. Nidhi, I am Subhash, 63 years retired professional weighing 77 Kgs. I have intermittent lower back pain since two years. The minor joints have started paining a bit. The doctors have treated me and gave temporary relief and now pain persist. I do yoga and moderate exercise regularly. The D3 and calcium levels are optimal. Uric acid level is also within range at 5.7. Please advice.

My wife is suffering muscle pain in both of the legs & swelling on both of the feet from last one month. She if 46 Yrs old and non diabetic. What should be the reason & treatment?

I am 46 years old , from last november onwards i have lower back pain with burning and tingling on the left side buttock area, had taken an MRI , The results are as follows, L4/5 DISC - Prosterior bulge indenting the thecal sac and touching the traversing roots at the lateral recess L5/S1 DISC- Prosterior bulge indenting the thecal sac NO MAGOR CAUDA EQUINA COMPRESSION SEEN I Had visited neuro specilaist and taken maxdulin 75 + 20 mg for 2 months , and then there is no reilef, also done yoga for 3 months and also now i am going for walks for 7 km daily, now for the past one week i am experiencing burning sensation on the right buttock area kindly advise

MY mother is 67 yrs old..she is having constant pain just below right ankle portion for last few years.though urea and creatinine level is under control.X ray also done and doctor confirmed no such injury. Pls let us know what might be the cause and treatment required.

Dear Sir, My mother ( 79 yrs.) had sudden onset of constipation & other little bit of gastro-intestinal problems two & half years back. At the same time she complained of pain in the left side of lower abdomen (illiac region). Gastroenrtrologist didn't find any specific serious problem. All tests has been done (USG abdomen, colonoscopy, endoscopy, all bood test,vitamins, TSH, LFT,KFT etc). She was checked by doctor at apollo chennai. They also didn't find any problem with gastro-entrology side. Patient still complaining of pain in left side of lower abdomen, walking difficulties. stifness all over, Pain in left lower limb, pain in the cervical region, both upper limb. Recently one of my friend (Dr.)visited my house. He has diagonised ankle edema, cervical spondyolysis, tunnel carpel syndrome & parkinson & advised me to meet an neurologist. He advised me to do CBC, CRP, Anti-CCP, X-ray of cervical region & nerve conduction study. All are normal except X-ray & NConduction. X-ray shows of spondyolysis & NC study impression : AXONAL TYPE OF SENSORI-MOTOR POLYNEUROPATHY. I met Neorologist He prescribed Pramipex 0.125mg TD for 14 days & then increase the dosage by double. I have started physiotherapy. I She is taking medicine for last four days. I am finding it difficult to manage the situation. Kindly give me some guidance or am i moving in right direction?
