Is Chole Bhatoore Good For DIabetics once a week?

Ans: Chole Bhature includes ingredients of chickpeas which are a good source of protein and soluble fiber. Bhatura is made of refined flour which will spike blood sugar levels. Also, as it is deep fried, it contains a high fat content with unhealthy trans fats which are harmful. If refined wheat flour can be replaced with whole wheat flour which is baked or tandoor, and chole made in minimum oil, the dish can be modified as a healthy meal.

Ans: For all practical purposes jaggery is the same as sugar except that it is less refined. Taking sweets made of jaggery is almost the same as taking sweets made of sugar , not advisable. A spoon of pure ghee in rice is okay
