Hello, Actually one of my relative is very critical, doctors have detected a tumor in her stomach and upon testing it is found that it is cancerous. But it's in a critical position so they don't want to operate as infection may spread. They have tell them to take her home and keep her there. How long can she survive?

Ans: How long one lives cannot be predicted. But how well can we live in the days of our life can be decided.
Cancer is a condition where the, warmth in a human is not functioning.
So activities to bring the inner warmth at the phtsical level, emotional level and mental level should be exercised. There is a medicine called Missletoe - Anthroposophic remedy. Look into Google and see if this can be made available for the process of warmth and vitality

My mother has undergone liver transplant at the age of 63 and it has been 31 days post surgery. As of now she is all fine. How is her life ahead?What all precaution she needs to take ? Is she out of risk now? What are the complications that could happen? What is the life span after this? How much more time does she be very cautious?

Ans: Hello. While transplant is viewed as a new lease on life, it is a slightly different life with a lot more care especially after liver transplant. It's still quite early in her journey but the hardest part is over. In the next 2-3 months, she needs to be very careful with her medications and follow ups, so as to prevent and recognize any problem early. After about 6 months post-transplant she can be more relaxed. Life span will depend entirely on the underlying condition for which she received the transplant and how much care she takes of the new liver. All the best!

Hi sir or madam one my very close relative has cervical cancer detected, I don't know the stage but we have done pet scan and has been spread in external illiac lymph nodes, large lytic lesion in left traverse of l5 vertebra suvmax 9.28, soft tissue nodules involving bilateral lung parenchyma, fissure measuring .69 with suv max 6.03, there is lot of things written in PET Scan report. I don't know this can curable or what will her life span pls give some suggestions

Ans: this looks like an advanced stage of Cervical Cancer.Cancer is curable provided when it is picked up early.I am sure with a positive attitude and the right protocol followed she would do well in her quality of life.

In June this year my father , 82 yrs old, was diagnosed with adeno-carcinoma non-small cell type lung cancer with stage 4, except this his all vital are normal, by the grace of God. He has completed all chemo sessions. During this tennure he had significant weight loss. Now he has to take only one medicine,dacomitinib-30g, once a day. Moreover he is quite well now and active. What I want to know is that how much time it will take for him to regain his weight and will cancer get completely eradicated from his body after taking this medicine regularly. Animesh....

Ans: Lung cancer are prone for metastasis which is distant spread. So your father would need regular follow up. Staying positive, with a healthy lifestyle will add quality to life

I have over 14 years of work experience in one of the leading PSU Banks both in credit and operation. In academics i have done MBA and also completed CAIIB but don't have any technical degree. Wanted to shift my career in MNC Banks. So whether I need to do any technical/ professional course.And also suggest what are the opportunities available in various domains along with its requirements in these MNC Banks to build career.

Ans: I dont think you need to do any course unless you are looking at shifting to a different domain. Directly apply to MNC banks. Contact placement agencies and take their advice. There are placement agencies that cater to Banks who could help you get the desired role. Can also directly apply to different banks.

Ans: Doing Executive MBA could definitely help you in your career. But considering that you are already earning 1 lakh per month, try doing MBA from only the top institutes. You would have to prepare for GMAT exam.

Ans: Its not late. you can look at either doing Executive MBA from some of the top colleges or doing some relevant course that would help your switch. Problem with switching to IT would be that you would have to start as a fresher.

Ans: Switching jobs to a completely different domain would be difficult and you would have to start from scratch. Instead look for something that is relevant to your field like Insurance and try to see if there are any openings at Managerial level where you can apply. Openings need not be in Sales but could be in other domains relevant to your field.

Ans: If your interest is to settle abroad then CAT or GMAT would be a better option. If you plan to go abroad, identify the country and college you want to pursue your future education. Look at what is required in the college - entrance exam, work experience, extra curricular activities, etc - and then accordingly prepare.

Ans: There are courses in Agriculture Management (IIM A, IIM L, etc.) or Rural Management (IRMA, etc.). Can look at these options to do an MBA for which you would have to write CAT. For PhD you have a separate exams that would give you admission for PhD.

Ans: Good time to start would be after your 1st year (if you are doing a 3 year Bachelors degree) or after your 2nd year (if you are doing 4 year Bachelors degree). You will have 1.5 years to prepare for the exam. There are students who also prepare for less than 6 months and crack the exam. In the meantime ensure you do well in your academics in your college, create a good habit of reading and take up internship post your 1st year of graduation.

I completed my Pharm.D in 2018 from top college due to some personal reasons i worked as assistant professor and physician assistant in past since 2020 i want to pursue mba but due to financial thing i didnt go into cat coaching and full time mba due to financial dependancy ....now iam about to get married ( female ) 30y old doing mba healthcare management in distance but my college is not giving placement opportunities. Is it right time for me to join full time mba which is costly at this age I want to go into project management field.... Now there was no jobs for freshers jn that field

Ans: If possible look for doing Executive MBA from some of the top B schools like IIMs, ISB, XLRI. You would have to write the GMAT exam for the same. It is 1 year full time course and though it is expensive, you should get a Bank loan if you get admission to one of the top colleges.

Ans: Can do Executive MBA (1 year full time) from some of the top B schools like IIMs or XLRI or ISB. You would need to write GMAT for the same. Most of these colleges require a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
