Dear Dr. Mahajan, I am living in the US right now. I moved from India in January 2023. I don't have yet my driver's license, so I walk to office from home and back. It makes around 6 kms, five days a week. I have a blood pressure, it remains 70-75 to 110-120 with the help of Olmin 10 (1-o-1), Few days ago, my stock emptied and my family sent me a courier of Olmin from India. During this 5 days of without medicine, my blood pressure would go up to 90-140 range after walking back from office. And after 15 mins of sitting, it comes to 80-120 in an ideal range. No symptoms of chest pain, no short breath or no sweating. I got a local doctor prescribe me Olmin equivalent here in the US. It is available in 5 mg. I started taking 1-0-1 (5 mg) and monitored my BP, it remains 80-120 even after a brisk walk and measuring it immediately. Do I need a BP medicine? or the walking 5 days x 6 kms from 9 months have improved my health? I was 90 kg when I arrived in the US. Now weighing 86 kg. My height is 172 cms. Still over weight. I am type II diabetic and take Udapa-10 (1-0-0) and Glycomet GP-1 (0-0-1) and HBA1C is 6.2 before moving to the US. Do you think, my overall health has improved ? By the way, I am 54 Years old.

Ans: I would recommend you take the Olmin since apart from just BP control, it protects your kidneys. You can take 5 twice a day at least.
