I am diabetic. Took Tab Tenligliptin20 since 2014-2024. I always got my HbA1c normal but in jul 24, it resulted abnormal (8.9). My dr added a medicine Tab Dapa-10 and suggested for continuetion. In Oct HbA1c came down to 4.7 which is in normal range. The dr still suggested the same medicines for one more months. He has also added Vit d3 every week for a month. Que- Should I follow the doctor? What's should be the next srep. Please give your opinion too.

Ans: Please monitor your blood sugar levels by measuring fasting and 2 hr after breakfast blood sugar levels.
Two HbA1c levels seems little confusing and one of two may be incorrect. So, it is better to monitor with fasting and 2 hr blood sugar levels also.
In your anti diabetic medications, one of the essential medicine metformin is missing. I would prefer to add metformin and reduce dapa to 5 mg and might stop tenli.
