Ans: It's not for age wise HbA1 C changes
Please follow lifestyle modifications and recheck after 6 months

Hello Doctor, I am 46 yrs Old & I found my HbA1c 5.8 & TSH Level 7.94 in test report. what should I do ? please advise

Ans: You should get an oral glucose tolerance test done. Also, a free T4 test would be required. Basic metabolic workup along with lipid profile too. Consult a Doctor to guide you further. HbA1c of 5.8% suggests prediabetes and lifestyle changes and weight optimisation needed based on BMI.

I'm 65 years young and Insurance agent by profession. I had asked a question on 20 April 2023 and in your answer you suggested to get HBA1C test done. Here are my HBA1C report dated 21 Dec 2022. My HBA1c observed value is 7.1. Average Blood Glucose(ABG) is 157. AMYLASE 0bserved value is 51.07. Please comment. My report is 4 months old. Will you consider for reference purpose or I need to take latest HBA1C test? please advise

Ans: HbA1C shows your glycemic control over the past three months
7.1 means the sugars were not under control
You need to increase your physical activity

my HbA1c scopre is 9.2, however i take medicine for last 5 years. Is the score have any trouble?

Ans: This is a very high HbA1c level, specially if you are already on medication.
This essentially mean your blood sugar is not under control. Please consult a physician, who would review your diabetes and blood sugar control amongst other things.
You definitely need change in medicine and lifestyle. If already on multiple antidiabetic oral medicines, then starting insulin could also be a good idea.

Hello Sir, Good Afternoon, My son scored KCET 100520 ranks SC category, and scored AIR 344195 for JEE Main having 76.80 percentile and he want to take admission in CSE, ECE, EE or Mechanical, but he want to take admission in good TIER1 or TIER2 colleges in Karnataka under top 100-150 NFIR, which college is best for him for placement and packages in future...please suggest, as per his rankings MSRIT Industrial Engineering & Management available & in some of TIER3 college CSE, Electronics also there, which is best one for his future, please suggest. considering NIT, IIIT's & Top GFTI and state good colleges

I am 57+ years old with 2 yrs left for retirement from pvt firm. My take home salary is 2.15L after tax, corporate insurance and VPF deduction. I have accumulated 2cr in PF, 40 L in PPF, 20 L in FD, 30 L in retirals when due. SIP of 10k in Equity MF started recently valued at only 5L. Own house, 40k loan monthly emi ending just before retirement. Self and family insured . Monthly expense 1.8L . Eligible for 1L pension post retirement. I need to ensure a retirement corpus of 5 cr by next 2 yrs. Fall in Single income bracket. Pls advise.
