I am 62 yrs old male. My bp is 100/85 on average . I am taking telma CT 40/12.5 empty stomach in morning for the last 3 months. Before that i was taking telma40 with bp of 135/100 on average. Should i again convert to telma40 instead of telmaCT40/12.5 now.

Ans: Telma 40 is a single drug which acts to regulate BP
Telma CT 40/12.5 is a combination of two drugs
You need to follow up with your Physician to wean off if necessary

I am 55 year old, taking TELPRESS 40 - AM for the last 4-5 years to control BP and is okay and controlled. Do I Change the Medicine or stop the medicine gradually? please advise.

Ans: Hello. If the BP is controlled but not low, it likely means it is controlled because of the medicine. To be able to control the BP without the medicines, you will need to make lifestyle changes to reduce salt, reduce weight (if high), improve sleep, increase exercise and reduce stress. If these are done side by side, you may see your BP coming a bit lower than normal and that is a sign that you can reduce your medicines.
Changing the medicine is only needed if you are experiencing any side effects from it. For eg, Telpress 40 AM has 2 molecules, telmisartan and amlodipine. Telmisartan can cause increase in potassium and needs to be stopped when you have fever or diarrhea/ dehydration to prevent kidney damage. Amlodipine can cause swelling in the feet. However if tolerated well, these can be taken for life without any problems. All the best.

Doctor , I am 54 years old , 86 Kgs and 6 feet 1 inch tall, pure vegetarian, in 2017 I was diagnosed with high BP it was monitored by a MD physician in Mumbai and I was started with telma 40 1 tab daily in 2020 my BP shot up against inspite of daily mediation all tests including cardiac were perfect , medicine was changed and I was given olmesartan 40 along with 5 mg , S numlo 5 mg my BP is around 130/80 sometimes 130/90 , is this combination fine or should I reduce the dosage , doctor says let the dosage be the same continue in same way walk 20 min a day and maintain minimum salt intake, also since 2017 we started using sendha namak instead of regular iodised salt , daily morning 1 a to z , every month d3 60 k and twice a week b12 meganeuron of plus please advice if all this fine or need to change/add anything at present everything is good

I was taking Telma 40 AM for three months as advised by my Dr. During that time my BP dropped to 90/60 during the day time also. So my Dr. reduced the dose and advised me to take Telma 40. After starting Telma 40 and daily monitoring, my BP has gone up to 130/100 in the morning time after getting up. I have done all the necessary tests and all the reports are fine. What would be the best suggestion for me to do? Kindly advise.

Your age and other comorbidities/health issues you may have are not clear to me. How much you weigh and your height etc are not known).
However, please remember that anti-hypertensive medications are always supportive to lifestyle modification. Please do following:
1. Get a comprehensive blood test done which should include lipid profile, kidney function test and thyroid profile etc.
2. Ensure your weight is within normal range: for male, ideal weight is height in cm- 100 . for example, if you are 170 cm then your weight should be 170-100 or 70 kg. Thus enusre you have weight in normal range.
3. Do lifestyle modifications. eat healthy- fruits and vegetables, reduce salt in diet and walk at least 30 min per day for atleast 5 days a week. No more than 2 days of break.
4. Monitor BP twice in a day and prepare a chart for 10 days.

Based upon this information, a personalised lifestyle modification can be done.

With this information, and for your routine check up, visit your physician on regular basis.

I am 56 years of age. Since last two years I have regularly taking one tablet of Telmasartan 40, after being advised by the Doctor. However still my BP remains in the region of 160/100 to 150/90. Do I need to change the medicine and for that matter, consult a doctor.

Ans: Yes, you definitely another medicine added to Telmisarten. If it is still not controlled, the dose of Telmisarten could be doubled and other medicine could continue in half strength.
It has been found that combination medicines in less than full strength are better than higher dose of single medicine.

You may Log in to the EPFO website and navigate to the Inoperative Helpdesk.

There enter all of the data of the inactive EPF account and provide KYC information such as your Aadhaar number, PAN number, bank account number, and IFSC code.

The application will then be reviewed and handled by EPFO authorities.

Did physical intimacy stop all of a sudden? Like, what could have led to your partner not wanting sex?
Usual causes:
- Hormonal changes in your partner causing disinterest
- Boredom of the usual routine in the bedroom
- Lack of intimacy and closeness outside the bedroom scene
- Loaded with housework that leaves your partner tired
- Sense of non-accomplishment if she is used to working earlier and is not doing that anymore
- Need to do something different other than taking care of the house in case she is a full time homemaker

Help me!!! 1.I'm starting new "work" on my own(challenging for me) but my mind says quit it, be quite & do nothing. I myself don't know that wether the result of work will be +ive or uncompleted like alws. 2. My mind has become like order seeker type, when someone orders me, I do those things with dedicated(but sad from inside) manner. But when myself will try something different(which i fear, but necessary) then. "I QUITS IT" & sometimes I don't even start. 3. I'm like stuck no clue what/whom I want to do in life, I'm in cllg(1 yr) doing (CSE) ,. 4. I want to do/try (sports,talking girls,study,stocks,coding..) many things, but myself, my thoughts(overthinker), R like just be in the place where u are[confused,po*n,think about past/future(being billio..re,olympics..), girl (that u liked & never talked), abusive/beating self,.. sometimes feels like end life, but don't hv courage for that also.. 5. I tried self help books, spirituality, god, self affirmation, writing... & thay affected me(sometimes) but for only some time, then again that devil me comes up &these things never get completed. As no one in my family knows about all these, so that's Y ,I hv to fight/loose/try again, the battles with myself.

If in the past you have had the urge to QUIT, how is this time going to be different? This is not to discourage you from taking up 'new work' but pointing out that there is some amount of work that you need to put to clear the mind out of blockages.
-What is limiting you?
- What is the reason for putting off things?
- What comes first to the mind when you start something new?
Also, focus on one thing at a time; study and go deep into it...what's this thing with work? I don't understand. When the mind is unsettled, take one thing/activity, pursue it and finish it. It could simply be studying for Year 1 of your college...just only do that...once your mind is trained in completing an activity, you can add another one the next year along with studying and then pursue both...it could be some sport and studying...then the next year, you could add a third activity. This is called 'training the mind in discipline'. Discipline will make sure that you start and finish things...So, go slow and do one thing at a time.
