I am 51 years old having hypertension rather uncontrolled hypertension i take valsartan metoprolol prazisin bd fir the last one year but my bp is 150/100 please guide

Ans: Please go for 24hrs ambulatory BP recordings
This will give you a, picture of the need for stepping up of medicine.
Also look at your stressor and if you can change the way you perceive it.
Lifestyle modifications like salt restricted diet, regularity in sleep timings, Regular moderate intensity phtsical exercise are important

Ans: Hypertension may not cause symptoms but it still needs to be treated to prevent long term complications like strokes, heart disease and kidney disease. Yes you need medication if your BP is not controlled with non drug interventions like modification of diet, weight loss, exercise , relaxation techniques.

Ans: High BP at 51 yrs mostly points out to certain inheritance along with lifestyle deviations
Inherited quality in the blood vessel thickening cannot be changed much.But lifestyle modification plays a very critical role
These are
1.Salt restricted diet
2.Appropriate Cardiac endurance exercices
3.Avouding deep fried food particularly animal protein
4.Knowing where and how to meet unavoidable stress
5.Nurture quality of creativity and connect with nature
5.Good quality of sleep by adtering to sleep hygiene.
