My 10 year old boy with mild autism seems to have eye sight problem. Sometimes he closes one eye. My problem is he is non-verbal and hence I doubt that he cannot communicate or read what he sees. Is eye sight check still be possible in such a case? Do i need to explain anything specific to the eye specialist Doctor?

Ans: I think you need to explain your concerns about your child's inability to communicate to the eye doctor. The eye doctor may have other ways of testing vision

My son 7 years old has mild autism. He is good at Mathematics and reading words but cannot understand the meaning. Also his communication is very weak two or three words in sentences and logical communication is also not up to mark but his actions are logical and rational. Is there any chance of improvement in communication skills closer to a normal child.

Ans: Regular practice on word association with a picture and/ or real object/ activity/person is a way. Identifying emotions and their responses can be modelled by you, parents.
Connecting with a special educator who can support you with activities and a way forward plan is a way too. Attend sessions with the spl educator to work on communication is needed.

My 10 year old son is autistic and hence non-verbal. I want to check his eye sight. Since he will not be able to tell what is written ( alphabets) in the chart in front then how to go about eye check?

Ans: You can tell him to point out and give the alphabet and numbers .

Sir, I am a dropper (NEET) and took my NEET on May. My exam didn't go very well, and I am expecting my scores around 430-440. I am from Kerala, and cutoffs are generally high here. I am not just hoping for MBBS, but BDS or agriculture would also be a viable option. Recently, I got to know about various paramedical and allied courses(through meet), but I am not very aware of them. I would like to know about the courses, their demand, and the best colleges too
