Hi sir. I have an urgent question sir. I have recently acquired 2 choices for my colleges. Now as you know my preference in course is ECE . My first choice is BITS-pilani-Dubai Campus CSE btech with full fees. My second choice is MSRUAS ECE branch with full fees. As per your opinion on these colleges what should I choose?. I know ultimately it's my choice but family is confusing me . Please do help . Thank you

Ans: Hello dear
You are heading in the right direction. If possible, prioritize BIT Pilani Dubai Campus for greater global value. I think your parents might be considering MSRUAC. The issue can be resolved only through mutual discussion and assessment of the financial situation. According to your parents, if ECE is truly your priority and you’re not solely focused on the BITS brand name in CSE, then MSRUAS ECE better matches your interests. At last, you are saying it would be your choice but family is confusing you. I advise ending the dilemma by choosing ECE @ BITS-Dubai.

Good luck.

Sir my daughter is expected to get CS Allied , ECE in MIT Manipal . and is expected to get CS Core and ECE in MIT Bangalore . Her Interest is ECE but we are all in dilemma(including my daughter) . We have two questions 1) ECE in Manipal Campus or ECE in Bangalore Campus . Which one will be better considering that she will pass out 4 years hence for placement 2) Will we be doing mistake by not opting for CS related course and going for ECE as a career
Ans: For ECE, MIT Manipal is the superior choice over MIT Bangalore due to its established reputation, stronger alumni network, and consistently high placement rates—77% overall and 80–90% for ECE, with top recruiters like Amazon, Microsoft, and Bosch. The main campus offers broader industry exposure and better long-term prospects. Choosing ECE over CS/Allied is not a mistake; ECE is a flexible and respected branch, allowing careers in electronics, communications, and IT/software, especially if your daughter develops relevant programming and technical skills. Many ECE students secure high-paying software roles, and the branch’s analytical foundation is valued in the tech industry. Ultimately, success in placements and career growth depends on personal initiative, internships, and skill development, not just branch selection. Recommendation: Opt for ECE at MIT Manipal, as it provides the best balance of academic environment, placement opportunities, and future flexibility, aligning well with your daughter’s interests. All the best for your daughter's admission and a bright future!

I guys ain't answering my question I have posted it several days ago! Anyways! As I want to know so I'm being humble pls tell me that I have some private colleges options for ECE as I couldn't score well in my 12th so, pls clarify what to choose:- 1. Chandigarh University Mohali (my preference) 2. GL BAJAJ 3. GNIOT 4. LPU JALANDHAR 5. AMITY NOIDA 6. UPES DEHRADUN 7. KIIT BHUVANESHWAR Kindly answer.
Ans: These seven prominent private universities demonstrate distinct advantages and characteristics across placement outcomes, academic rigor, infrastructure quality, faculty expertise, and industry partnerships. Chandigarh University leads with 90.1% placement rates, 9,124 students placed, and 904 recruiting companies, achieving the highest international package of Rs 1.7 crores and strong industry connections with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and IBM, supported by NAAC A+ accreditation and NIRF ranking of 20 in universities category. LPU Jalandhar maintains comparable placement success with 90.09% rates, Rs 3 crore international package, Rs 62.72 LPA domestic maximum, and over 4,000+ global recruiters including Fortune 500 companies, backed by NAAC A++ accreditation and 600-acre campus infrastructure. UPES Dehradun offers specialized programs with 91% placement rates, Rs 49 LPA highest package, and strong industry alignment in petroleum, automotive, and emerging technologies, ranking 42nd in NIRF engineering category with focused career services. KIIT Bhubaneswar demonstrates consistent performance with 83.06% placement rates, 700 companies visiting campus, Rs 53 LPA highest package, and Rs 8.50 LPA average for B.Tech, supported by robust infrastructure and diverse academic programs spanning engineering to management. GL Bajaj achieves impressive outcomes with Rs 58 LPA highest package, Rs 7.35 LPA average, and 600+ recruiters including Palo Alto, Autodesk, and Walmart Global, emphasizing technology-focused education with strong industry partnerships. Amity Noida maintains steady placement statistics with 92.7% rates, Rs 7 LPA median salary, and over 11,000 placement opportunities through established corporate relationships with IBM, EY, Amazon, and TCS, complemented by comprehensive campus facilities and research infrastructure. GNIOT Greater Noida offers competitive placement support with 92.53% rates, Rs 70 LPA highest package, though with lower average packages, attracting recruiters like TCS, HCL, and Capgemini while providing affordable education options and modern campus amenities.

Recommendation: Prioritize Chandigarh University for its exceptional placement ecosystem, global recruiter network, and comprehensive academic offerings, followed by LPU Jalandhar for its international exposure and Fortune 500 partnerships. UPES Dehradun serves as an excellent choice for specialized engineering programs with strong industry alignment, while KIIT Bhubaneswar offers consistent performance and diverse academic opportunities. GL Bajaj provides technology-focused education with impressive packages, though Amity Noida and GNIOT remain viable alternatives for specific program preferences. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Tech Careers and Skill Development Expert - Answered on Dec 05, 2025

Career
Dear Sir, I did my BTech from a normal engineering college not very famous. The teaching was not great and hence i did not study well. I tried my best to learn coding including all the technologies like html, css, javascript, react js,dba, php because i wanted to be a web developer But nothing seem to enter my head except html and css. I don't understand a language which has more complexities. Is it because of my lack of experience or not devoting enough time. I am not sure. I did many courses online and tried to do diplomas also abroad which i passed somehow. I recently joined android development course because i like apps but the teaching was so fast that i could not memorize anything. There was no time to even take notes down. During the course i did assignments and understood the code because i have to pass but after the course is over i tend to forget everything. I attempted a lot of interviews. Some of them i even got but could not perform well so they let me go. Now due to the AI booming and job markets in a bad shape i am re-thinking whether to keep studying or whether its just time waste. Since 3 years i am doing labour type of jobs which does not yield anything to me for survival and to pay my expenses. I have the quest to learn everything but as soon as i sit in front of the computer i listen to music or read something else. What should i do to stay more focused? What should i do to make myself believe confident. Is there still scope of IT in todays world? Kindly advise.
Ans: Your story does not show failure.
It shows persistence, effort, and desire to improve.

Most people give up.
You didn’t.
That means you will succeed — but with the right method, not the old one.

Dating, Relationships Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps
