I am studying MBBS 2nd year in c cat and am totally guilty of this for fees I want to quit it and start studying for NEET again kindly give me an opinion

Ans: Hi Ashish
You're currently in 2nd year MBBS at CCAT (likely a deemed/private college).
You’re feeling guilty—probably due to financial pressure (fees).
You’re seriously considering quitting MBBS to re-attempt NEET, maybe aiming for a government seat.
If your family is struggling or sacrificing a lot for this, it’s valid to feel this burden.

Be brutally honest with yourself and ask:
Did you prepare seriously the first time? Do you know what went wrong and how to fix it?

keep these things in mind:
You’ve already spent 2 years, and you will appear NEET again in 2026 and you’ll have to restart from 1st year again if you get MBBS in govt.
No guarantee you’ll get a better seat next year unless you’re very clear about your prep strategy.

Ans: Hi,
First of all, don’t pay attention to what others say. Don’t follow their advice, including that from newspapers. Social media often confuses aspiring medical students and is primarily focused on making money.

Unlike other fields, the medical field offers a wide range of opportunities after completing your studies. After earning your MBBS, you can start practicing in your local area.
On the other hand, once you complete your postgraduate training, you will find it relatively easy to secure jobs in both the government and corporate sectors.
It’s a misconception that MBBS graduates are sitting at home; if they are, it’s likely due to a lack of skills, not a lack of job opportunities.

So, don’t worry about what others say. We still need more doctors, as many people often seek treatment from medical shops or unqualified practitioners.
I think I have provided the clarity.
All the best!
