I am pcb student. But i want to pursue career in btech. I hadn't had maths in 12th so k ain't eligible for btech but i am very passionate about btech. What should i do?

Ans: You can pursue certain B.Tech courses without having studied Maths in high school, but options are limited and vary by institution. Some private universities and deemed-to-be universities offer B.Tech programs in fields like Biotechnology, Food Technology, and Agricultural Engineering without requiring Maths as a prerequisite.

Examples include:-
SRM University - Biotechnology
VIT University - Biotechnology
Amity University - Biotechnology, Food Technology
Lovely Professional University (LPU) - Biotechnology, Food Technology

These programs focus more on biology and chemistry, making them accessible to students without a strong background in mathematics.

I have been a student of pcb , After 12th I took admission in BASLP course but didn't interest me due to the environment and the kind of work I had to do , So i Ieft the college in December last year, Now I don't know what to do next as I am really confused , I'm planning to give neet but getting mbbs seat is not possible in such short duration And BDS is over saturated in India , I have thought to do an MBA later , so management and finance interest me a bit , but my parents aren't allowing me to do BBA , what do should I do?

Ans: Can do any graduation course like BCom or even BA in Economics or Psychology. Doing BBA is not essential to do an MBA. Can choose any field of graduation based on your interest and then can move to do an MBA

Ans: You can do MBA after doing Bachelors in any field. So it is possible to do MBA after Bachelor of Data Science course. If you are good in Math then you should also be good at Data Science. I don't see a problem in following what your parent are recommending unless your have a strong interest in some other field.

Ans: Hi
You can take B.Tech in Computer Science even after PCB + Artificial Intelligence, but the path is a little different because Mathematics is compulsory for regular B.Tech CS in most colleges. Clear Mathematics via NIOS (or CBSE Private) but it will not be possible at IITs, NITs, IIITs require Maths in regular 12th, so they remain closed.

You can appear 12th from the other board.

Ans: You have chances with lower branches in some newer NITs/GFTIs, but for CSE, Amrita is the safer and better option overall if finance is not the issue for you.

Ans: ECE at Saveetha has good infrastructure and a flexible learning system, but core ECE placements are average, and faculty quality is mixed. Overall, it is fine if your son focuses on skills, internships, and preparation for higher studies alongside college academics. If no other alternative is available, you can go with Saveetha. Ans: Preference order may be: Production @ NIT Trichy > Mechanical @ NIT Calicut > CSE @ VIT, unless he is strongly focused only, and you are comfortable with the fee structure.

Sir I got 98.3 percentile in mains and around 95 marks in advance hope to get a rank around 15k to 16k rank should I got for lower iits core branch like civil mechanical metallurgy or tier 2 nits electrical engineering

Ans: For better career flexibility and placements, Electrical @ Tier-2 NIT is generally a better choice than lower IIT core branches unless you strongly prefer the IIT tag or plan for non-core/government exams. The final decision will be yours.

Ans: Chances with top colleges are almost nil. Try with newer or lower-tier colleges during later rounds. But you keep an alternative option ready as a backup. More practical advice is to choose a decent private college with the preferred branch and take admission via the management quota if finance is not the main concern.

I got 85 marks in COMEDK. What all colleges can I get with that, considering I want to pursue ece vlsi or ece or aerospace only. Also, I'm from Chandigarh, so I don't have HS quota. Additionally I'm getting metallurgy and civil at PEC, Electronics at Thapar (but it's too costly) and ece at CCET, sector 26 Chandigarh. Which of these, and the clgs I can get via COMEDK, are the best options considering my main focus is chip designing for military missiles and air crafts and I want to prepare for GATE and go for Mtech so placements aren't a big deal for me. My main concern is that the teaching quality and labs should be good and help me in case I also want to get a PhD in future... I'd be really grateful if you could rank them please...

Ans: Try ECE at BMSIT, NMIT, or CMRIT, or aerospace at DSCE/SJCE. Among your current choices, PEC-Punjab Engineering College (Metallurgy/Civil) has the strongest long-term academic brand, but for your VLSI/chip-design + GATE/PhD goal, prefer Thapar if fees are manageable; otherwise, Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (ECE) is the most practical choice.

Ans: For a female candidate focused on overall career prospects, coding culture, placements, and brand value, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women CSE is generally preferred over M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology CSE. But if you are inclined towards MSRIT, it is also an excellent choice. Practical advice: Choose the one that is nearer to your hometown to reduce upcoming expenses.
