Sir , I was a PCB student and was preparing for NEET after 12. But I couldn't clear it up. Along with that, I took admission in a district or local college in BA English but didn't study anything of that course (BA English) as I was preparing for NEET during this year. Only passed BA ENG papers by learning PYQs one or two weeks before the exam. Now I am 21, and my third-year BA ENG paper will happen in two or three months. Now what should I do, as I have messed up my whole career? With this government exam, preparation can be done, but I am not interested in that. Now, what should I do? Either take a BBA course for graduation or prepare for the CAT exam in order to pursue an MBA.

Ans: You can prepare for CAT.

Ans: Can do any graduation course like BCom or even BA in Economics or Psychology. Doing BBA is not essential to do an MBA. Can choose any field of graduation based on your interest and then can move to do an MBA

Hey i am a 21 year old female who took a drop of 2 years after my 12th for Neet, unfortunately couldn’t crack it. Now i am really confused with what to do in my life. I have selected a few options such as doing BDES from pearl academy or doing BBA from some private college. The thing i am concerned about is my age. If i do bdes which is 4 years long, i will be 25 when graduating and if i do bba, i will be 24 while graduating. My main goal is to do MBA from top B school but because of Neet prep ,my past academic records aren’t good enough so the certainty of me getting a good mba college is very less which scares me a lot. Plus if i graduate late then it adds up to the problem. Please help me navigate through my career. What should i do next?

Ans: If your goal is to do an MBA then can do a 3 year BBA course. This will save you one year as compared to BDES and the course would be relevant to what you want to do. I dont think the 2 year gap would matter a lot in the long run.

Sir I have done partial drop for neet 2024, firstly I have joined in btech biotechnology and in 2nd sem I was unable to maintain attendance so I got detained but I know how dangerous thing I have done because in mock tests I scored well which gave me overconfidence but at main exam I was anxious and made mistakes in omr sheet and scored 360. So what to do? Can I take bba or btech biotechnology and I want to settle down and my father is worrying lot about my career . I am just at home without any work which pains me alot . What to do sir? I want to get rid off this depressed life and in future I will get jobs?

Partial drop, admission to BTech Bio-Technology, unable to maintain attendance, then detained, then performed well in Mock Tests (How! unknown), mistakes in OMR and scored 360 (In which subject, not mentioned). Now, you wish to go for BBA and settle down! Right now you are at home without any work!
Looking at this journey, it is obvious that your father is worried.
If you are not interested in Bio-Tech, why have you joined it?
It is better to focus on your interests and then choose a career. Choosing the course of interest will create interest in your life.
If you master your interest course, then there is no problem in getting a job or starting your own business.
Leave the depression, and focus on your interests. Learn it, master it, and get success. That is so simple.

why one will have to pay tax at all if there is no income tax for those earning up to Rs 12 lakh per annum?

Ans: Technically there is no tax if taxable income upto 12 lakh (except special rate income), as you get rebate equivalent to tax charged. So you have to calculate tax as per slab rate first and reduce tax liability by way of rebate.
