Hi Patrick, I have a gap of 2 year between 12 and Btech (taken 1 year for Jee prep couldn't fetch good college enrolled in ignou as I missed DU timelines, wrote JEE next year and got a college in 2nd year attempt) . Then I joined manufacturing firm have experience of 3 years there. Now I got an admit from a reputed private MBA college fee around 25 Lakh. I am 26 years old General female, lower middle class family sole earner. My question is as this Gap year impacted me in socialising during btech as well causing me loosing a lot of opportunities, not being part of any team, also not much exposure during my job tenure as well and now I am going for MBA after resigning, how to overcome this low self esteem, feeling of being too old, thinking about huge loans and not sure how to approach people to make teams for case comps, talk in general, FOMO? I want to pursue MBA without these baggage to give my best and fair shot, learn genuinely and transform my and family's life.

Ans: If you are getting into a reputed institute, there will be others in your institute with gap more than you and older than you. I dont think 26 years is old. Its the right age to do an MBA. If the average package in your college is more than 60% to 70% of the fees you are paying then you can take up admission. You should be able to repay the loan.
