Sir maine iss saal (2025) me 12th board dia (Assam State board hai mera)... expected marks nhi aya..me next year betterment exam dene ka soch rhi hu...toh betterment dene se JEE counciling me mera 12th marksheet acceptable hoga kyaa???

Ans: Yes Nitu. The Assam State Board's betterment exam marks can be used for JEE counselling. The board issues a new marksheet with updated scores after the exam. During counselling, the latest marksheet reflecting the improved scores must be submitted. JEE counselling authorities accept the improved marksheet as long as it is issued by a recognized state board. Eligibility criteria for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs require an improved percentage of 75% or top 20 percentile. Carrying both original and improved marksheets is essential. All the best!

Sir maine 2021 me 10 paas 2023 me 12 bihar board se kiya hai or maine jee ka exam 2025 s1 and s2 diya Lekin main dubra 12 de skta hu ya nhi Yadi mai dubra 12 deta hu to kya mai jee mains ke liye eligible hu ya nahi . Agar eligible hu to kya mai apne 10 bihar board or 12 other state board ka marksheet laga skta hu to 10 or 12 me jo gap hai ussase dikkat to nahi ayega

Ans: Yes, you can appear for Class 12 again from another board. There is no restriction on that.
You are allowed to appear for JEE Main only in the year you pass Class 12 and in the next two consecutive years (i.e., maximum 3 attempts).
Your 10th marksheet from Bihar board and 12th from another state board is acceptable.

The gap between 10th and 12th does not matter for JEE, as long as your name, date of birth, and other details match in both documents.

My son got 1lakh rank in VITEEE... Which campus and branch he's likely to get?

Ans: Khushi Madam, With a VITEEE rank of 1,00,000, your son is unlikely to get any branch at VIT Vellore or Chennai, as their cutoffs are much lower. However, he has a good chance of securing admission to core branches—including CSE, IT, ECE, and Mechanical—at VIT Bhopal and VIT-AP (Amaravati) campuses. He should participate in counseling and prioritize these two campuses for better chances of getting a preferred branch. All the best for your son's admission and a bright future!

My son got 92% in JEE main Barch 2025 and 54% in NIOS 12th, can he apply for JOSAA. Is NIOS acceptable?

Ans: NIOS is accepted for JoSAA counseling if all other eligibility criteria are met.

With 54% in NIOS 12th, your son is not eligible for admission to NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs through JoSAA under the General category, unless he is in the top 20 percentile of NIOS board students for 2025, which is unlikely at this percentage.

He can consider private colleges or state counseling processes with more flexible eligibility criteria. All the best for your son's admission and a bright future!

I scored 97% in Tamil Nadu state board exam and 10,987 rank in AEEE exam. Which college should I choose if I want to pursue either CSE or ECE. Whats the best college in Tamilnadu(especially around coimbatore and Chennai region) for a cutoff of 192.5

You did not mention about JEE or state level entrance test score. With AEEE score, difficult to get a seat for CSE. Which exam cut off is 192.5 you did not mentioned. There are many private college where you can try for CSE/ECE. You can try in PSGCT, VIT Vellore etc.

If your son is interested in pursuing a B.Des., there are several other institutions besides BITS that offer superior curricula and placement opportunities. A quick search on Google can provide more information. However, if you have tried and were unsuccessful, there is no harm in choosing BITS. It is also a well-respected institution for design courses.
