I graduated with BTech in information technology in the year 2008 but, due to recession, placement letters were held back by companies.
I became depressed and decided to join my father’s distribution business where I handled sales and marketing for leading brands like Exide, Luminous, etc, and increased the turnover four times. 
But now it all seems gloomy again, starting with demonetisation, GST and then coronavirus.
I have worked for more than 11 years but I can’t find a job now.

However, assuming that you are either taking admission to CSE or parallel computer courses in B.Tech, here is the response to your eagerness: (1) It will enhance your data skills (like Python, ML, analytics). (2) This will broaden your career options, e.g., data analyst, AI roles, etc. (3) IIT Madras has a strong reputation that will help you build your career in this field. (4) However, time management is crucial to avoid burnout. Prioritize quality over quantity. That is, even though the course is online, you will need to spend significant time learning and practicing, which may be challenging when pursuing B.Tech in offline mode simultaneously. Go to Google and type: JoSAA Opening & Closing Ranks 2024
Click on the first search result (official JoSAA website).

Step 3: Select the Round Number
JoSAA conducts five rounds of counseling.
For a safer estimate, choose Round 4, as most admissions are settled by this round.
Step 4: Choose the Institute Type

If you are open to all types of institutes, check them one by one instead of selecting all at once.
