From my knowledge, the only best option for an Indian nurse is to go and work abroad. So you mean to start working under an employer and go for an employer-sponsored programme.

Ans: Welcome back.
No, that way. It is not recommended to go abroad. There are a lot of options in India are available. It is suggested that you explore them as you are on medical leave due to health issues. Better to think of a master's (PG) and some related courses for a more stable life.

Ans: Hello Lijo,

To begin with, thank you for contacting us. I am glad to hear that you have completed your Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and now want to work in the USA or Canada. To answer your question first, I would like to tell you that relocating from one nation to another for a job can be difficult, particularly when licensing tests and monetary constraints are entailed. There are a number of options available to nursing professionals looking for jobs in the United States or Canada. One such option is through programs viz., the NCLEX-RN for Canada or the NCLEX for the United States, which mandate clearing examinations as well as adhering to particular prerequisites for registration. Remember that loans, scholarships, or other forms of monetary assistance granted by organizations, institutions, as well as government programs with an aim to assist overseas candidates can help reduce the burden of financial restraints. Moreover, I would recommend that you look into the various sponsorship programs offered by healthcare organizations or institutions in the United States or Canada as they may provide opportunities to find employment and maybe assist in covering a part of the relocation costs. In addition, you can acquire meaningful information as well as advice through building connections within the nursing community, being a part of discussion groups, as well as getting in touch with experts who have undergone comparable experiences.
