Sir iam from tamilnadu i just started my preparation for jee mains in class 12 I was an average student in class 11 can I get into iit or nit by studying these state board syllabus

Ans: Ajay, you have NOT mentioned:

Whether you have joined any coaching center for JEE preparation.
If you appeared for the JEE Main January session this year. If yes, what was your score?
Preparing for JEE and other engineering entrance exams while studying under the TN Board curriculum can be challenging. Success in JEE requires strong commitment and the right preparation strategies. You may already know that securing admission into reputed colleges like PSG, Thiagarajar, or SSN through TNEA counseling requires a high cutoff.

To keep your options open, I recommend having a Plan B and Plan C:

Consider 3-year UG programs through CUET-UG, which can help you gain admission to Central or State Universities and/or through Management Quota Seat (if your parents can afford for it or you can directly apply to some reputed colleges (other than top colleges) in TN (which depends upon the Program you choose.
To make an informed decision about your field of study, taking an online psychometric test can be helpful. This test evaluates your interests, aptitude, attitude, learning style, and personality traits. Based on the report, you can identify the best career paths and choose one that aligns with factors like location, budget, and future opportunities. All the best for your admissions!

Ans: With 64% in Class 12 and 90 percentile in JEE Main under the SC category, you are eligible for NIT admission through JoSAA. You have a good chance at newer or less competitive NITs and lower-demand branches. Your estimated SC rank (7,000–10,000) makes it possible to secure a seat, especially if you fill maximum choices. Also consider CSAB special rounds and state-level colleges. Focus on skill-building and branch change options after the first year if needed. Have other back-ups too instead of relying only on JoSAA Counselling. All the best for your admissions!

Ans: With a JEE Main percentile of 98.86, your son can expect chance at getting into several NITs, especially for less competitive branches like Electrical Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. And for CS he will get in low ranked NITs.

Ans: Mechanical Good chance in NIT Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Puducherry, Agartala, Arunachal Pradesh
ECE Possible in NIT Meghalaya, NIT Sikkim, NIT Puducherry
CSE Tough in top NITs; possible in NIT Nagaland, NIT Mizoram, NIT Arunachal, NIT Puducherry (spot/round 5-6)

Hello sir I am pcb student and I gave neet but couldn't clear it . Now I was looking for btech cse healthcare informatics but fees per annum is 3 lakhs or i can do btech cse education technology here fees is 2 lakhs per annum but this is lower branch so in terms of placements health informatics is better but Its costly what should I do??

Ans: If your family can afford the ?3L fees (maybe through an education loan), Health Informatics is a better long-term choice — both in placements and future scope.
