Hello sir. Which college can I expect at a score of 607 in NEET 2024 rank 69399, domicile of J K, Open merit in India. Unfortunately I didn't register in other state counselling due to lack of guidance. Also didn't get any Govt college through AIQ.

Ans: Hello.
As you are domicile of J&K, then there are chances of securing a medical college seat with a NEET score of 607 are quite good under the state quota. J&K tends to have a slightly lower cutoff compared to the All India Quota, which boosts your chances. Make sure to participate in state counseling and any other J&K-specific medical counseling for better options.

I didn't get any seat in my state this year. And I wasn't aware of other state counselling dates as I was pretty sure I would get something in my own state. So U didn't register myself in other states unfortunately.
Ans: Welcome back.
Already It was clear that you did not get any seat in your state J & K. As the counseling process in other states is also in the last state, you can't participate in it. It would be better for you to try Management quota in a reputed private medical college if your financial situation permits you to do so, Else, the last option, repeat NEET and avoid the silly (blunder) mistakes done by you this year related to the counseling process.

If you are dissatisfied with the reply, please ask again without hesitation.

With great difficulty our budget can be around 50-60L so I don't think this makes me eligible for management quota. What are the private colleges I can opt for and their procedure?
Ans: Welcome back.
The initial budget of 50 to 60 lac is somewhat sufficient to gain admission in any good reputed private medical college either in J & K or another state. Even you can opt for an educational loan after finalizing admission to a medical college. You can opt for any private medical college across India. Visit the administrative office of the medical college you have chosen. Complete the formalities laid down by that institution.
Here are some names of private medical colleges in J&K
(1) Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS), Jammu
(2) Islamic University of Science and Technology, Pulwama
(3) Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, Srinagar
These colleges tend to have lower fees compared to other private institutions across India. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on fees, you should directly contact the institutions, as fee structures can vary each year.
Take early steps, or else the chances of admission to a private medical college will also be deemed.

If you are dissatisfied with the reply, please ask again without hesitation.

Thank you for the options but I couldn't get in ASCOMS , also SKIMS is a govt medical college it doesn't offer private seats, Islamic university doesn't offer MBBS course it has other B.Sc degrees... So could you please provide me with a list of private medical colleges throughout India for MBBS only under the above mentioned budget?
Ans: Welcome back.
The list of private colleges is too long and it can't be mentioned here. it would be better for you to visit the MCC website to get the complete list of government and private medical colleges in India.

If you are dissatisfied with the reply, please ask again without hesitation.
If satisfied, please like and follow me.
Thanks.

My child will be appearing for NEET UG 2025 for the fourth time. Each time his performance has been abysmal, which, I know, is going to be repeated this year too. We have already asked him to move ahead but he is adamant on appearing in NEET which is beyond his calibre. He doesn't have any idea what to do next, has never thought of a Plan B,C or D. Kindly guide as to how plan a career ahead for him. Is there any sort of psychoanalysis to know what is the right study option for him and where to get it done. I can't afford crores of rupees in pvt. medical colleges/abroad .I can take professional assisstance . Kindly give me contact number/ email ID. Thanks.
Ans: Hi Sir,

Don't worry. First, it's important to counsel him.

The health sector is a promising field, which is why I believe your son is so determined to appear for the NEET exam, even though this will be his fourth attempt. It’s natural for him to feel a bit worried. I think he needs to reflect on why he hasn't been able to succeed so far. It's crucial for him to analyze where the problems lie. For example, if he's struggling with chemistry, he should focus more on that subject, as well as the others he finds challenging.

He has a lot of homework to do, including taking mock tests and learning effective strategies rather than just simple ideas.

I have one question: Has he enrolled in any study or coaching center for NEET preparation? If so, it would be beneficial to discuss ways to improve his performance.
If he has prepared himself, kindly approach the best coaching center near your area. For more information about us, you can contact the admin.
