Hello sir my viteee rank is 58405 what can I expect.My priority is cse or cse specialization

Ans: At VITEEE rank 58,405, CSE/CSE specialisation at VIT Vellore is very unlikely, even in higher fee categories; recent expected closing trends show Vellore CSE/CSE-specialisation mostly closing far earlier, around 25,500–45,000 depending on branch/category. Chennai CSE-specialisation may also be difficult beyond around 42,000. Your better chances are VIT-AP or VIT Bhopal for CSE, CSE-AI/ML, Data Science, Cyber Security or allied branches, mostly in higher fee categories. VIT counselling uses category-wise fee slabs, and higher rank usually means a higher category fee. Fill choices broadly: VIT-AP CSE specialisations, VIT Bhopal CSE specialisations, then ECE/EEE backups. Have 3-4 backup options of other 3-4 reputed private colleges also. VITEE RANK 57122, shall I get CSE OR ECE SIR?

Ans: Dear Thiyagarajan, With a rank of 57,122, you should consider VIT Bhopal or VIT AP campuses for admission in CSE or ECE, as these campuses have higher cutoff ranks and better chances of admission compared to VIT Vellore or Chennai. If possible, try to have back-ups of Sastra, Amrita, Karunya & Sathyabhama. All the best for your admissions and a bright future!

Based on your rank, you have excellent chances of securing the following branches in different campuses of VIT:
In VIT Vellore/Chennai, there are high chances of securing a seat in ECE/EEE/Mechanical/Civil in categories 2-5. Additionally, there are possibilities of securing CSE special branches, like ECSE, in category 5.
In Bhopal/AP, it is possible to secure a seat in CSE in categories 1-2. So, if you are planning to pursue CSE, it is advisable to opt for Bhopal or AP. Decide and proceed further to secure a seat.

Ans: Rajiv, For CRL 71,261, General, Delhi, give priority to the JAC Delhi counselling process. Target DTU/NSUT lower branches like Mechanical, Production, Civil, Environmental, Biotechnology, and ICE; IIIT-Delhi CSE/ECE is unlikely. JAC Delhi publishes official 2025 round-wise cutoffs for DTU, NSUT, IIIT-D, and IGDTUW. Through JoSAA, CSE/ECE in good NIT/IIIT is unlikely, but fill lower NITs/GFTIs and use CSAB Special Rounds, whose separate cutoffs are officially released. It is also advisable to have a minimum of 4-5 backup options of IPU counselling, JIIT Noida, Thapar, LNMIIT, Shiv Nadar, and Manipal/SRM/VIT (Northern India Campus) instead of relying only on JoSAA/CSAB/JAC-Delhi. Hello my name is jasveen, my jee mains crl rank is 643934 and ews rank is 90531 home state - Jharkhand will i get any gfti nit and state level college and good branch ?

Ans: Jasveen, With CRL 6,43,934 / EWS 90,531, NIT/IIIT through JoSAA is almost impossible, even with Jharkhand as your home state. In CSAB, you may still try lower-demand GFTIs like NIAMT Ranchi, Assam University Silchar, Gurukula Kangri, and Mizoram University for branches like Civil/Mechanical/Production/Food/Agriculture, but good branches are unlikely. Have backup options of JCECEB Jharkhand state counselling and private options like BIT Sindri, RTC, Cambridge, Usha Martin, and Amity Ranchi instead of relying only on JoSAA/CSAB. Please note there is low to moderate chance of getting CS with AI at vellore campus but in higher free category.

Also, cut off varies every year.

With 90,000 rank getting a seat at the main VIT Vellore campus in is highly challenging. You may get civil or lower stream with highest fee structure.

You may explore Chennai and Bhopal campus for a better stream.

Sir which branch is beter cse/it

Ans: Hello

Please note both the branches are equally good, however there are few differences like

CSE is a core branch with greater focus on coding, database, AI/ML while IT is more to do with business applications, networking and cybersecurity.

Career wise both offer similar opportunities while come companies prefer CSE graduates.

Also depended upon which college you are pursuing the degree from.

Between the two CSE has a slight edge.

Ans: Without any ifs and buts, you prefer IIIT-H, as ISI is exceptional mainly for mathematics, statistics, and research-oriented paths. If your daughter is interested purely in mathematics or statistics, then and only then choose ISI.
