Hello sir myself sampreetha. I'm interested in astrophysics and want to be a researcher in space field but I'm a PCMB student ... Actually at first I had interest in engineering courses later my interest switched to biology and then I started preparing for neet since my parents couldn't afford a good college I couldn't get any kind of coaching benefits.. and I don't think I could do my best in the first attempt and now I'm currently preparing for KCET as that's the only option left to me ... Should I focus on neet or KCET ... In case if I become a doctor can I come back to the field of astrophysics? If so what should I have to do? Is it a good choice

Ans: Hello dear.
I am glad to hear that you are interested in astrophysics and research in the space field. You made the good decision to take PCMB subjects in the 12th standard. You are preparing for two exams, KCET and NEET, without taking the help of any coaching center. Why are thinking negatively that you can't do the best in 1st attempt at this stage? Without thinking much more about the future, just focus on your syllabus and upcoming exams for which you are preparing. I can assure you that with any score in KCET, you can get admission to an engineering college provided that you have a minimum of 50% marks in the board examination. Considering your anxiety, and fear it would be better to focus more on KCET as your target is astrophysics and space research which can be turned into your dream if you enter into the engineering field. It would be very difficult for you to come back into the field of astrophysics if you chose the medical field. Hence, focus on KCET, crack it with high percentile, get admission to a good and reputed engineering college, and work on your dream. Even if you are not admitted to engineering, you can choose the path of astrophysics via B.Sc. + M.Sc. and equivalent courses. Best of luck to your upcoming bright future.

Hi mam, I am 43 yrs old. I don't feel hungry at all for past 10 yrs. I am doing kapalapathi, anulom vilom, bramri and yoga poses. I drink more than 3 litres of water every day. I have gastric problems. Can you please help me?
Ans: It looks like your digestion is weak, which is why you don’t feel hungry. Even though you are drinking enough water and practicing yoga, your gastric issues are still there. This means your body needs extra care.

First, check if you are overeating at one time or eating without real hunger. Try eating small meals at regular intervals. Include warm, home-cooked food that is easy to digest. Avoid raw vegetables, cold drinks, and spicy or oily food, as these can increase gastric problems.

Since you are already practicing kapalabhati and anulom vilom, reduce kapalabhati if you feel bloated. Instead, do Agnisar Kriya and Uddiyana Bandha under the guidance of a yoga expert. These techniques help strengthen digestion and improve appetite. Also, Vajrasana after meals will support digestion.

Daily morning walks in sunlight can help balance your digestion and improve natural hunger. Practicing mindfulness while eating, chewing food properly, and eating in a peaceful environment will also help.

It’s best to consult a yoga or meditation coach to get a personalized routine based on your body type. A guided approach will help you heal naturally and safely.
