Career

Hello Sir- We live in Bangalore and we are originally from AP Guntur, (Amravathi ). My daughter got B tech CSE core in VIT AP thru VITEE (3 lakhs fee), Mgmt seat (CSE core) in Cambridge Institute of technology, Bangalore. (5 lakhs). Yesterday she got Integrated MTech (5 years course) in Core CSE in SRM University main campus Chennai via SRM entrance exam. This fee is also close to 5 lakhs per year. Could you please suggest us the best in above 3 colleges. We don't mind putting my daughter in VIT amaravati AP as our home city in Guntur and fee with hostel come to 5 lakhs, which ok for our budget. So kindly suggest me which college is best for my child in above 3 colleges carrier and placements wise. She is interested in CSE core branch only.. Thanks in advance sir.. Tripura

Ans: VIT AP's B.Tech CSE program maintains over 90% placement rates with an average package of ?14.43 LPA in 2024, engaging 150+ companies including Amazon, Microsoft, and Deloitte. The university achieved a 93.35% placement percentage in 2023 across all streams. Cambridge Institute of Technology Bangalore's CSE program records 70-90% annual placements with 95% overall placement rate, achieving placement medians of ?7.20 LPA and hosting 120+ recruiters including Amazon, TCS, Wipro, and IBM. SRM Chennai's integrated M.Tech CSE delivers 5,176+ job offers from 853+ companies in 2024 with an average package of ?7.92 LPA. The integrated program extends to five years but provides advanced specialization in data science and cognitive computing. VIT AP holds growing industry partnerships and proximity to Guntur, Cambridge Institute maintains A+ NAAC accreditation and strong Bangalore tech ecosystem exposure, while SRM Chennai offers A++ NAAC accreditation with established alumni networks and integrated postgraduate pathway.

Recommendation: Choose VIT AP for consistently higher placement rates and proximity to your home location; consider SRM Chennai's integrated M.Tech for advanced specialization and established brand recognition; select Cambridge Institute Technology only if Bangalore's tech ecosystem and management quota accessibility are priorities, though its placement percentages trail both VIT AP and SRM Chennai significantly. MY SUGGESTION: Based on your home state/where you live now, choose either AP or Bengaluru, instead of Chennai. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Hello Sir We are staying in Bangalore now and originally from Vijayawada AP. My daughter got CSE in VIT AP Amaravati, CSE in Cambridge institute technology Bangalore and also in Gitam University Bangalore campus. I prefer VIT AP Amavarathi as it is top universities and has Nation & world wide recognition. But I want your suggestion also. So Which among above colleges you suggest us. My name Sai Murali.
Ans: Sai, When evaluating VIT AP Amaravati, Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT) Bangalore, and GITAM Bangalore for CSE, VIT AP emerges as the superior choice due to its NAAC A++ accreditation, QS World University Rankings recognition (top 550 globally), and robust industry partnerships with firms like Microsoft and Qualcomm. While CIT Bangalore reports a higher peak package of ?53.5 LPA, its average package of ?7.2 LPA trails VIT AP’s ?14.43 LPA, reflecting more consistent mid-tier opportunities. VIT AP’s curriculum integrates AI/ML specializations, project-based learning, and global collaborations (e.g., Arizona State University), fostering interdisciplinary skills critical for tech careers. GITAM Bangalore, though NAAC A++ accredited, lags in NIRF rankings (101–150 for engineering) and reports a lower average package of ?4.5 LPA. CIT’s 95% placement rate and Bangalore’s tech ecosystem offer localized advantages, but VIT AP’s national reputation and 1,458+ recruiters (2025) provide broader career mobility. Recommendation: Choose VIT AP Amaravati for its academic rigor, global recognition, and balanced placement stability, reserving CIT Bangalore only if prioritizing immediate local internships or leveraging its outlier high packages, while GITAM serves as a tertiary option for cost-sensitive candidates. All the BEST for your Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Sir o got seat on iit jodhpur in chemical engineering. I got 13500rank in jee main with general category nuteral genders should i accept jossa seat or go for further csab round ,i have the chance of MNC in iiit Gwalior and EE in MNIT allahabad etc
Ans: Chiranjeev,IIT Jodhpur’s Chemical Engineering offers strong IIT branding, modern labs, and experienced faculty, yet its Chemical branch placement hovered around 71.4% in 2024 with a median package near ?12 LPA. IIIT Gwalior’s Mathematics and Computing program reports placement rates close to 90% over recent years and an average package of ?21 LPA, supported by robust industry ties and active internship pipelines. MNIT Allahabad’s Electrical Engineering achieved an 88.7% placement rate in 2024 with an average package around ?20 LPA, benefiting from PSU recruitment and a well-established training cell. All three institutions maintain strong accreditation, peer learning environments, and dedicated placement cells.

Recommendation: Prioritize IIIT Gwalior Mathematics and Computing for its high placement consistency, strong average packages, and evolving research ecosystem. If you prefer a core electrical pathway with PSU and tech-sector opportunities, MNIT Allahabad EE is the next best choice. Accept the IIT Jodhpur Chemical seat only if brand prestige and core chemical engineering alignment outweigh placement considerations. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Sir My son gor 236 marks jn bitsat jn which pilani civil is getting But in mhcwt he got 99.30 percentile and cap round is pending Pls guide shall i loack lolani or i have xhance to get good subject in maharshtra
Ans: With a 236 score in BITSAT, a B.E. (Hons) Civil Engineering seat at BITS Pilani is assured, offering a prestigious dual-campus brand, strong civil infrastructure projects exposure, and a 90–95% placement rate in core engineering roles at firms like L&T and Jacobs. Holding a 99.30 percentile in MHT-CET positions your son well above the closing percentiles for premier Maharashtra branches: CSE at VJTI (98.6–99.7), Computer Engineering at COEP (99.80–99.97), and CSE at SPIT (99.0–99.4). He is also eligible for CSE/IT at PICT (98.5–99.2) and Civil at COEP (96.38 percentile), ensuring access to top-tier branches with modern labs, seasoned faculty, robust industry linkages, and ≥90% placement support. Locking BITS Pilani Civil secures a guaranteed spot in a globally recognized program; however, CAP rounds can yield CSE or IT seats in elite government institutes with lower fees and stronger public-sector recruitment pipelines.

Recommendation: Confirm the BITS Pilani Civil seat if assured of joining a world-class core program with high placement momentum. If a computing-focused career is preferred, leverage the 99.30 percentile to lock a CSE/IT branch at VJTI or COEP, where tech sector opportunities and placement rates rival those at BITS. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!
