Thank you for the compliment. The NEET exam is conducted by the National Authority. A very small percentage of admissions will happen through the central level, while the remaining will take place at the state level.

Why is this? It's quite challenging to conduct everything at the central level, so they have divided the admissions into two categories: 85% for the respective state and 15% for the All India Quota (AIC), which is based on rank.

Yes, you must register; otherwise, the government won't know if a particular candidate is interested. The state will announce the registration dates, which may start either at the end of June or in July (exact dates will be confirmed by them).

If you are eligible and want to participate in the counseling process, you need to register online. After registration, there will be document verification for your domicile, category, rank, etc. Based on your score, you can select your preferred colleges and courses, after which seat allotment and final reporting will take place.

Similarly, you must register for the All India Quota (AIQ). For this, you need to register on the MCC website for AIQ.

Money should not be the primary criterion for your decision, even though it is an important factor. For LKG, we are paying over a lakh, but is it worth it? Obviously not. The same consideration applies in this case. Before joining the course, you should consider the following:

1. Is the candidate truly interested?
2. What is the quality of the infrastructure, faculty, library, and other basic requirements to complete the course?
3. How does this campus compare to others, such as Vellore?

If your ward is considering a career in medicine or engineering, opting for PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) is a better choice than just PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) alone. This path will offer more opportunities and help avoid future challenges in pursuing engineering.

PCMB provides a wider range of options compared to PCB. If he chooses PCB, entering the engineering field may prove to be more difficult.

For PCB, there are primarily two pathways to consider:

**With NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test):**
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
- BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
- BVSC (Bachelor of Veterinary Science)
- AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy)
- Allied Health Sciences

**Without NEET:**
- Pharmacy
- Nursing
