Hello sir, I gave jee mains+adv this year, got 89 %ile in mains and did not get rank in advanced. I am getting an opportunity to study integrated BBA(Analytics)+MBA(AI+DS) 5 yrs (offline mode) from IIT MANDI. Their selection criteria was a required jee mains %ile + interview. Also, I might get admission in BTech CSE in top 10 colleges of UP. So since you are expert in management field, I wanted to ask you if BBA is suitable and not much difficult for a student like me who has PCM background and what type of problems I might have to face. Or, for now, I should focus on Btech and then prepare for CAT ? Thanking You

Through IPMAT your son will get into 5 years integrated program at IIM. And yes there will be different companies for placements for both categories. The degrees are from IIM only and if you are valuing the degree from CTC then yes there will be a difference. Getting into IIM through CAT is a bit tough.

Ans: Choosing between B.Com and BBA depends on your son's interests and long-term career goals. Both courses can lead to a successful career in business and management, but they have different approaches and specializations.

B.Com is a more traditional and broader course that focuses on various aspects of commerce and finance. It covers subjects like accounting, economics, taxation, finance, marketing, and business law. Ans: It is advisable to write GMAT and try to do Executive MBA from one of the good IIMs or XLRI. These colleges do have good placements and it could help your career. Usual requirement for these courses is minimum 5 years of work experience

Ans: It does not make sense to join a tier 3 MBA college if you have a potential to get into IIMs. Give a good shot for CAT and try to get into a good college. If you do not get admission in good college then can look at tier 2 or tier 3 colleges. If possible take up a job so that your gap does not increase.
