Can I choose Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science without Maths in class 11?

Hello! My daughter is in class 10 and is very weak in maths and has no interest in it so she took basic maths. And in 11 she wants to take physics chemistry and computer science. Is it possible for her to take it with basic maths or without maths.

Ans: Hello.
If your daughter is very weak in mathematics and has no interest in mathematics, then it is better to think about the options of pursuing science with Physics, chemistry, and computer science subjects. Without sound mathematics knowledge, it is impossible to excel in these subjects, and would be very very difficult to study the syllabus of competitive examinations.
In your query, you have not mentioned the purpose of choosing PC+Computer science. Many parents choose these subjects from another aspect point of view. As it is not made clear from your side, I can't suggest/guide properly.
It would be better to take the admission in commerce with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Ans: Praveen, Your daughter has great job choices in banking, finance, marketing, law, corporate secretary, mass communication, journalism, and hotel management even if she can pursue Commerce and Economics without Mathematics. Higher studies possibilities comprise B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce), B.A (Bachelor of Business Administration), BA Economics, Law (BA LLB/BVA LLB), Mass Communication & Journalism, and Hotel Management. Jobs in banking and finance; marketing and sales; HR; corporate secretary; legal profession; and entrepreneurship abound. Nonetheless, some elite institutions and universities could demand Mathematics, and disciplines like Data Science, Finance, and Actuarial Science mostly depend on it. She can still have a brilliant future in commerce and economics even if she hates maths greatly. She should investigate courses in Business Studies, Accountancy, or Entrepreneurship alongside Commerce & Economics since Applied Mathematics can be a useful substitute. Please note, The level of Mathematics required in Commerce and Economics depends on the specific subjects and career paths chosen. Commerce without Maths involves basic calculations and logic-based thinking, while Economics without Maths involves basic statistics, graphs, and logical reasoning. B.Sc. Economics requires higher Maths, while Commerce with Applied Maths covers practical topics like financial mathematics, probability, statistics, and logical reasoning. For the Amritapuri, Chennai, and Amaravati campuses, you have good chances of getting admitted to the following B.Tech programs: ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering), EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), Mechanical, Civil, and CS (Computer Science).

Studying in college can be compared to a train journey: having a first-class or second-class AC coach is certainly preferable. To secure a spot in a better coach, you need to achieve good grades in school. Your academic performance will determine your rank and, consequently, the programs or branches available to you. If you don’t meet the requirements, you might have to either retake exams or enroll in whatever core courses are open to you.

To increase your job employability, you can pursue additional online programs such as data science or cybersecurity. It seems you are more focused on Rourkela rather than the specific programs available. This suggests that you might just be looking to pass the time.

If you belong to ODISHA, then there are possibilities for Chemical (chances are more being from the home state).
Electrical/Electronics might be possible in special rounds. IS THIS OK FOR YOU?

Sir I have got 36240 rank in VITEEE which college I get it I want to pursue cse with category 1 or 2. Also I got 84010 rank in jee mains, can I get good government or private college for male from Rajasthan, general category.

Ans: Based on VITEEE's score, CSE Category 1 is unlikely at VIT Vellore/Chennai. Category 2 may be difficult for Vellore/Chennai CSE, but you can try VIT-AP or VIT Bhopal CSE/CSE specialisations, where Category 1/2 chances are better. Expected VIT category trends show Category 2 roughly around the 20,001–45,000 rank, but the branch and campus decide the final allotment. With JEE Main CRL 84,010, a general male from Rajasthan has low chances for CSE in NITs/IIITs through JoSAA. You can try CSAB for GFTIs/lower IIITs in non-CSE branches. Better private backups are LNMIIT Jaipur, Manipal-Jaipur, SRM, Thapar, UPES, Bennett, and MIT-WPU. All the Best for Your Prosperous Future!
