Patrick Dsouza is the founder of Patrick100.
Along with his wife, Rochelle, he trains students for competitive management entrance exams such as the Common Admission Test, the Xavier Aptitude Test, Common Management Admission Test and the Common Entrance Test.

Patrick has scored in the 100 percentile six times in CAT. He achieved the first rank in XAT twice, in CET thrice and once in the Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test.

Hello,I am 22 .. going to be 23 years old in February..I am in 3rd sem of b.ed..i have done bsc(in pcm) and currently doing b.ed..i am confused if I should continue in teaching or transition to mba HR..I do like teaching as I noticed in my third sem practicals..but my subject of interest in varied..I like to teach hindi, english i.e languages..I also like to counsel people..I am also confused if I should do pg considering teaching..then what should I choose.. english literature, chemistry or psychology.. My goal is to become financially stable by 25.. going for mba from good institute takes grasp on maths..which is bad in my case..I recently cleared CTET (eligibility exam on central level for government teaching jobs) I am confused..help!

Ans: As you are interested in teaching and have an aptitude for the same, continue in that line for a couple of years. See if you are interested in continuing in that line. If not then can do PG in HR to change the line at a later date.

Hi I m am school teacher at age 23 I have done b.sc pcm , bed and M.A(psychology) till now.. I love teaching but salary scope is limited .. currently 25 k ..down the line it can maximize to 60k. So please suggest should I do cfa or MBA and will be I selected?? In IIM with this type of background

Ans: Start your own coaching institute if you are interested in teaching. If you are interested in Management or Finance you can do CFA / MBA. MBA from top institute would obviously be a better choice as compared to CFA, but CFA would be a better choice as compared to doing MBA from tier 3 institute. If you are ready to leave your job and do MBA then prepare for the entrance exams. If you are unwilling to leave your job then can do CFA which you can do without leaving your current job for now. But later you would have to find a relevant job to get the CFA degree.

Ans: Can definitely go into teaching. Can look at being part time or full time or visiting faculty.

Hello Sir, I am a 35 yr BE(CSE) Male working in Bangalore with 12.5 yrs experience in Embedded systems domain with not bad salary. I want to switch to my passion which is teaching in a non technical field. Based on my interest, I have come with below options. 1) A computer science / Maths teacher with BEd degree. Do I also require Bsc / Msc course for this ? If so, can I pursue via distance education mode ? 2) A Professor in a BEd College - I am aware that we need BEd, MEd, Phd. Assume I am doing them, do they even welcome a 45 yr fresher for that ? Is work experience as a teacher in schools required for those posts ? 3) A CAT quants coach - with good interest in maths, I want to know what are the institutes / coaching centres looking in such candidates. I have 3-5 years in hand before making switch. Kindly advise what are the efforts, how I may need to prepare for this change.

Ans: I consider the Embedded systems is meant for geniuses like you. The ESD industry is booming and will continue to grow with the emergence of EVs and all the appliances and devices getting built in India. I would encourage you to talk to a few Engineering Colleges in Bengaluru an see if you can deliver a few guest lectures. Once you gain confidence and success, consider running a full semester. This looks like the best of both worlds--that give you the job satisfaction and good salary from your ESDM job For industry professionals BEd etc are not needed. All the best.

Hello Sir, Here is my background - I have done MA Sanskrit. I started working in corporate in 2009. All my friends suggested that I should do MBA as it boosts career prospects. I did that alongwith it did Six Sigma also. As I love languages, I also did my B2 in German and based on that I got placed in Amazon and worked there for 2 years. I have in total 10 yrs of corporate experience in different fields like customer service, e commerce, language quality control etc. While I was working in corporate, I was also teaching Sanskrit and German to students for extra income. After pregnancy, I am full time into training Sanskrit and German taking online classes. As income is not fixed in teaching and as I have B2 German, some are saying me to switch back to corporate. I am confused - should I do Scrum master certification and work in corporate using my German language expertise or instead do B.ed- M.ed and work in teaching? I like to work in both fields, but for my age (36) and with a child, I find corporate jobs very hectic with targets and stuff I can go for teaching, but income is not good and fixed. I am confused please help.

Ans: The most preferred thing is peace of mind. So never go back to corporate. Out of stress you will be suffering. Let the income be less. Continue your Sanskrit and German teaching. Don't go for B.Ed and M.Ed. At this position peace of mind is more important than big earning. Best of luck. Just follow me. GOD BLESS YOU. Professor............:)

I understand your problem mam. I would like to know how's your husband's behaviour with you? If he is ok and doing good with you, its my personal advice that you should think good about your marriage. As you have a son also his future depends on your today's actions. One more thing, when you ll not leave your past behind, you ll not be able to invest in your present. So I would advise you to stop talking to your ex and concentrate on your husband and kid.

Ans: you are in duress. a relationship as defined by you is not worth being in one. please break off, block him from all our touchpoints - social media/ phone etc...if need be change your phone number. heal yourself, focus on your self, become financially independent, feel good about yourself before you find your person.

Sorry to hear that you failed in CBSE board examination. Failing your CBSE board exams means you won't be eligible for JoSAA counseling. You can consider appearing for the CBSE improvement/compartment exam to improve your marks and meet the eligibility criteria for future JoSAA counseling. You can appear 12th via open board but again you have fulfill the eligibility criteria of min 75% for JoSSA counseling. Best of luck for your bright future.

96.56 percentile in jee Main, delhi kota general category which NIT OR IIIT i get with CSE or ECE branch all over India

With this percentile and OC, you have a chance to get admission to NIT but surely you can get admission to IIITs. Instead of thinking about pan India colleges, you have a chance to get admission to your nearest IIIT. Locate it and take the admission. Best of luck to you,
