Sir i had already passed class 12 in 2024 from cbse board and i want to give nios april 2026 exam with fresh 3 subject and 2 toc of subject form cbse 2024 am i eligible for jee mains and josaa Counselling all nit and iiit in 2026

Ans: Hello dear
Yes. According to the current JEE Main eligibility rules, you qualify because: (1) You passed Class 12 in 2024 (CBSE) and will appear for NIOS in 2026, which falls within the three-year eligibility window (2024, 2025, 2026). (2) You will have the required five subjects (3 new from NIOS + 2 from CBSE) meeting the subject criteria for NIT/IIIT admission through JoSAA.

The only caution is that if NTA or JoSAA change their rules before 2026, you’ll need to check the latest brochure that year.
