I have got a NTA score/percentile of 91.2352248 in JEE Mains 2025. What options can I get to puruse B. Tech. in Delhi NCR region ? I have Delhi domicile and would prefer to have a Govt college and a branch like CS/ECE.

Ans: SJ, Just visit the JAC Delhi website and look at the Opening and Closing Ranks of CSE, ECE, and other Branches of DTU, NSUT, IIITD, IGDTUW, and DSEU up to Round 5. This will give you a good idea of which Branch you will get for your NTA Score. Instead of depending only on government colleges for CSE/ECE, it is better to have a Plan B and a Plan C. You can do this by taking two or three more entrance exams and/or going through the counseling process at some colleges that accept JEE-Main scores. My rank in JEE Mains 2024 is 63k, I scored 96.81 percentile in MHTCET and my COMEDK Rank is 2768, I have scored 74% in my class 12th (not eligible for JOSAA and CSAB councelling) I live in Chattisgarh But I want to persue B.tech in any circuital branch in some prestigious institutions ( more inclined to any government institutions) please suggest me what should I do.My rank in JEE Mains

Sir, my son studied 11th from karnataka school and 12th he will be preparing for jee from hyderabad, and will do schooling from there. Will he be eligible to attend kcet exam as he did his schooling till 11th from bangalore. Does it impact eligibility for kcet and other bangalore college exams?

Ans: 11th in Karnataka, 12th in Hyderabad: Since your son completed his 11th standard in Karnataka but is pursuing his 12th standard in Hyderabad, he does not meet the requirement of completing both 11th and 12th standards in Karnataka.

Seven-Year Study Period: If your son has not completed a total of seven academic years of study in Karnataka (from 1st to 12th standard), he would not fulfill the domicile criteria for KCET.

Ans: Potential NITs and Branches:

Top NITs: Securing branches like Civil Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Production Engineering in premier NITs such as NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, or NIT Surathkal is plausible. While highly sought-after branches like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) might have higher cut-offs, your PwD status enhances your chances.

Mid-Tier NITs: Institutes like NIT Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur, and NIT Calicut may offer branches such as Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), or Chemical Engineering.

Ans: At the time of form fill up give your 1st choice at first place even if there is no chance of getting that option. Then fill up other choices as per your preference. See previous year cut off.
