Dear Sir, My son has got 98.4442 percentile in JEE Mains exam 2024..Can he get CSe in any reputed nit/iiit? Please guide which is a better career option. We belong to UP..Other than cse, ece whether electrical engineering is also a good option?

Ans: Hi Indrajit. With a 98.4442 percentile in JEE Mains, your son stands a good chance of getting a seat in CSE at several reputed NIT's and IIIT's. Look at the JEE Main cutoffs for CSE at various NITs and IIITs from previous years to better understand where he might stand a chance. The second option about Electrical you mentioned is also a very good option. Rather, I would recommend Electrical over CSE.
