My son got 84 percentile in JEE mains 2025, will He get CSE / EC in any IIIT or GFTI under OBC NCL. Home state is Madhya Prdesh.

Ans: IIIT Hyderabad – Does not participate in JoSAA, requires UGEE/SAT; very competitive.

IIIT Bangalore – Takes admission through JEE percentile, but cutoff is generally above 96–98+ for CSE/ECE

Ans: With a rank of 6525 in SRMJEEE Phase 2, it is unlikely that you will get CSE core at SRM Andhra Pradesh (Amaravati). The expected cutoff for CSE core at SRM AP is typically around 9,000. Your rank is slightly above that cutoff, but it's still possible to get CSE with a specialization or in another campus if you are flexible.

Ans: With an IAT rank of 9200, your son has a good chance of getting into some IISERs, particularly the newer campuses like IISER Tirupati and IISER Berhampur.
