sir i am going to give my pcb board examinations cbse in 2025 and i will also be writing neet in 2025 . here are some questions :- 1. if i take a drop and start preparing for jee mains instead of neet by adding maths to my subjects , which will be a better option among these ? a) writing the on demand exam for maths from nios and if i do so what should information has to be given in jee mains form because i have previously given neet through nta b) writing the public exams for all five subjects pcm from nios.then what should be written in jee main form c) giving a maths exam from cbse as aprivate candidate . and will two marksheets one including maths and one including pcb affect my jee form and counseling do 2 marksheets make a propblem in counselling or filling form and if not what should be entered in form for marksheets of 2 different years or boards 2. if i have maths from nios which board do i have to enter in jee mains form ? i am very confused , please help

Ans: Hello Baqir.
It seems that you are very confused. As you said, you have already appeared for NEET i.e. this is your drop year. Yet you are not confident about NEET 2025. If you have taken NEET previously, then how again you are appearing for the board exam is also not clear. If you have already given NEET and are preparing for NEET again, then why you are thinking about JEE without any reason is also unclear. You have created a lot of problems in your mind without any reason. This is because you are not focussing on the syllabus and studies but rather thinking in an irrelevant direction. The question arises, why not you are appearing with mathematics on the CBSE board? It is suggested that you appear to NEET 2025 with full preparation. If you score less also, then there are many courses in the medical field in which you can get admission. Leave all worries, thoughts, and no mark sheets, JEE issues and focus only on NEET 2025. It is also suggested that you please meet face to face a counselor to understand you more and guide you properly.

I Passed my class 12th with 85% in 2024 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology ( PCB )of Maharashtra board. I want to appear in JEE Mains Exam in January session of 2025. For this I am going to give Mathematics isolated Exam in February but I will get it's Marksheet in June 2025. (1) What should I fill in the Application Form of JEE Mains 2025 — Passed or Appearing ? (2) Is isolated mathematics exam marksheet of Maharashtra board valid for JEE or not ? (3) Am I eligible for jee mains and advanced?

Ans: Hello Mark.
Here is a point-wise reply to your question:
(1) Since you appear for an isolated Mathematics exam, you should select "Appearing" in the application form, as you will receive your final mark sheet (including Mathematics) in June 2025.
(2) The isolated Mathematics mark sheet from the Maharashtra Board is valid for JEE examination.
(3) You are eligible for JEE Mains if you pass the isolated Mathematics exam and fulfill the general criteria (minimum qualifying percentage in 12th with PCM). To be eligible for JEE Advanced, you must qualify for JEE Mains and meet the category-wise cut-off criteria for Advanced.
Conclusion:- Appear for Maths subject separately, Fill Appearing in the JEE Exam form, Score Min qualifying marks in JEE+ 75% in PCM, appear for JEE (Adv)

Thank you for your reply sir (1) But I will get marksheet with only including Mathematics. Then I will have two Marksheets one of PCB of 2024 and another of isolated Mathematics Marksheet. (2) My PCB marksheet is of year 2024 , if I filled appearing will it create any problem in Counselling? (3) Since I have two Marksheets one of PCB and another Mathematics isolated Will Jee Mains and Advanced Accept two Marksheets and other engineering colleges including iits and nits.

Ans: Welcome back.
It is already cleared that, there will be no problem if you enter as an "Appearing" option.
While filling out the application form, you have to enter the marks subject-wise. Hence there is no obstruction of two mark sheets. At the time of admission, they will check both the marks sheets and will enter separately the scores of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. There will be no issue of admission either to IIT's or NIT's

Ans: Given your performance in board exams, particularly in Mathematics, I strongly recommend having a Plan B and Plan C instead of solely focusing on JEE, considering various factors. However, to address your query, here’s a brief clarification:

Your eligibility for JEE Advanced is primarily determined by the year of your first Class XII attempt. Since you first appeared for the exam in 2024, you are eligible to take JEE Advanced in 2025, but not in 2026. Changing your board to NIOS or any other alternative will not reset your eligibility, as the first attempt year remains unchanged. All the best for your admissions!
