I was failed in 2024 1st time appearing in 12th board then i can appear jee advanced in 2026 if i reapper in boards 2025 and pass in 2025 ?

Ans: If you pass your 12th board in 2025, you will be eligible for JEE Advanced in 2025 and 2026, provided you do not attempt it in 2025 (if you want 2026 to be your first or only attempt). All the best for your admissions!

Sir if I passed 12th in 2024 and gave improvement in 2025 can I give jee advanced in 2026???

Ans: Nisha, You can appear for JEE Advanced 2026, but there are essential eligibility criteria to consider.

Number of Attempts: Candidates are authorized a maximum of two consecutive attempts. Since you took improvement examinations in 2025, that counts as your first attempt, making 2026 your second and final attempt.

Class XII Examination Criteria: To be eligible, you must have appeared for your Class XII (or equivalent) examinations for the first time in either 2024 or 2025. Your subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Performance in Class XII: You must satisfy the required performance criteria:

At least 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or

Be in the top 20 percentile of your respective board.

Since you passed Class XII in 2024 and took improvement exams in 2025, your highest score from either year will be considered. Ensure your improvement exams encompass all required subjects.

Additionally, candidates admitted to the preparatory course in 2025 can appear for JEE Advanced 2026 if they meet other eligibility conditions. All the Best for your JEE preparation.

Hi i graduated class 10 in 2021 then in 2023 i didn't give 12 board exam i didn't even fill the exam form i skipped it. First time i give board and jee in 2024 but in 2024 i failed so i reappear in board and jee in 2025 again failed can i give jee mains and advanced in 2026 with reappearing board.

Ans: Raju, Since you failed in 2024 and 2025 boards and JEE attempts, your eligibility clock starts from the year you pass Class 12 (expected 2026).

You can appear for JEE Main in 2026, 2027, and 2028 (up to 6 attempts total), and JEE Advanced in 2026 and 2027 (2 attempts).

You have made multiple queries regarding admission opportunities. I am pleased to inform you that she has excellent prospects with an OBC rank of 602 and UP domicile for several top-tier and mid-tier National Law Universities (NLUs) through CLAT.

At RMLNLU Lucknow (Tier 2), there are high chances of securing a seat. Additionally, there are also opportunities available at other Tier 2 universities such as Bhopal, Gandhinagar, and Raipur.

In Tier 2 itself, the chances are promising, so naturally, there are very good opportunities in Tier 3 as well, including universities in Assam, Nagpur, and Shimla.

Regarding Delhi University (DU), both the BA LLB and BBA LLB programs are competitive but possible. However, since she has a good chance of getting into a Tier 2 university, it may be advisable to pursue that option rather than competing for a spot at DU. Ans: Hello Rajya, Your son has picked National Forensic Sciences University for Cyber Security program, which is a great pick but his OBC score (I hope abc rank was a typo) of 4252 does not offer much hope in the better campuses of NFSU like Gandhi Nagar, Delhi, even Dharwad simply because there are only 40 seats in each of the ten odd campuses. Opt for all campuses and some of them may get you a slim chance. And even AP domicile does not offer any reservation. NITs, IIITs and govt funded technical institutions and they may offer him options in Computer science and your son could specialise in Cyber Security.

I would put Harcourt Butler Tech University, a very prestigious institution in the the State, and Computer Science branch more in the aspirational and dream institution category even in the third round. My suggestion is to widen the list of institutions to at least 10. Also opt for other branches like electrical, mechanical.

If this the overall score then your has a good chance of securing admission in lesser known NITs, newer IIITs as also in the government funded technical institutions. By narrowing down your choices of institutions near Chandigarh--closer home --may not be a good idea.

Ans: Chances of getting into Mathematics & Computing (M&C) Engineering at top colleges are slim, but you may get it in some newer or lower IIITs or state/private colleges through counselling. Keep M&C as an ambitious option and include CSE/IT/ECE backups too.

Ans: Chances at top NITs are very slim. But she may have some chance at lower/mid NITs or newer NITs for CSE/IT, depending on exact JoSAA cutoffs and round movement. Consider other lower branches for better chances of admission in further rounds.
