Does biomedical engineering and machine learning from has more scope or biotechnology with genetic engineering from SRM?

Ans: Biomedical Engineering + Machine Learning
• This is a modern field where health and technology come together.
• Your child will learn how to use machines, AI, and data to help in medical fields — like making smart devices, scanning systems, or using software to find diseases.
• It has good future scope, especially in foreign countries and health-tech companies in India too.
• Needs interest in computers, maths, and logic, along with a bit of biology.
• If your child is okay with coding and tech, this has very strong scope ahead.
Biotechnology + Genetic Engineering (SRM)
• This is more about biology, DNA, research, and working in labs.
• It has scope too, but mostly in research, pharma companies, or higher studies like MSc, PhD.
• In India, job offers after just BTech are limited unless the student does post-graduation.
• Good choice if your child loves biology, genetics, and wants to do research or work in a lab.
Biomedical + ML has more industry jobs and modern applications, especially in India and abroad.
Biotech + Genetics needs higher studies to get strong jobs, especially in research areas.
