My daughter is in 11th Class now and wants to become CA. The school in which she is studying is not having Commerce with math. what should i do

Ans: If your daughter wants to become a Chartered Accountant (CA), she can continue in the same school without Math at the 11th and 12th level. To cover the math gap, enroll her in private coaching for basic commerce math and encourage self-study with online resources. If she is confident and comfortable with changing schools, consider a Commerce + Math school (difficult to change but can try). If not changing schools, consider NCERT or CBSE Math Books, joining a Math Tuition, or choosing an additional math course. Although Mathematics is not a requirement, having a basic understanding will make some parts of the course easier. With dedication and hard work, she can pursue CA successfully even without Math in 11th and 12th.

My daughter is in 10 th class Maharashtra board She wants to do carrier in mathematics or economics what are the ways for further education
Ans: Your daughter is interested in pursuing a career in Mathematics or Economics, which offer exciting opportunities and a variety of educational pathways. She can choose from the Science Stream (Mathematics Focus) or the Commerce Stream (Economics Focus), depending on her interests and aptitude.

An option for her is to choose Science with Mathematics in 11th and 12th grade, which will provide a strong foundation in math. After completing 12th Science with Mathematics, she can pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, such as B.Sc. in Mathematics, B.Tech or B.E. (Engineering), or a B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics.

Postgraduate courses in Mathematics can lead to M.Sc. in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, or M.Tech in Data Science or Computer Science. Other career paths in Mathematics include Actuarial Science, Data Science/Analytics, and pure mathematics/research.

In Economics, she can pursue Commerce with Economics in 11th and 12th grade, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, a Master of Arts in Economics, or a Master of Science in Economics. Specialized courses in Economics include Econometrics, Public Policy, Finance, and International Organizations/NGOs.

Joint careers in Mathematics and Economics can be pursued through integrated programs like B.A./B.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics, or Actuarial Science/Financial Mathematics. Entrance exams and competitive exams may be required for each path.

Pursuing Mathematics through the Science stream is an excellent path for your daughter, while Economics through the Commerce stream is ideal for those interested in understanding economies and global trends. All the BEST for Your Daughter's Prosperous Future.

Hello sir My daughter is in 8th grade ICSCE and moving to 9th now, she need to choose subjects. She is not interested in maths but want to take commerce and economics. Without maths will there be good options in future for studies and career? Please assist
Ans: Praveen, Your daughter has great job choices in banking, finance, marketing, law, corporate secretary, mass communication, journalism, and hotel management even if she can pursue Commerce and Economics without Mathematics. Higher studies possibilities comprise B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce), B.A (Bachelor of Business Administration), BA Economics, Law (BA LLB/BVA LLB), Mass Communication & Journalism, and Hotel Management. Jobs in banking and finance; marketing and sales; HR; corporate secretary; legal profession; and entrepreneurship abound. Nonetheless, some elite institutions and universities could demand Mathematics, and disciplines like Data Science, Finance, and Actuarial Science mostly depend on it. She can still have a brilliant future in commerce and economics even if she hates maths greatly. She should investigate courses in Business Studies, Accountancy, or Entrepreneurship alongside Commerce & Economics since Applied Mathematics can be a useful substitute. Please note, The level of Mathematics required in Commerce and Economics depends on the specific subjects and career paths chosen. Commerce without Maths involves basic calculations and logic-based thinking, while Economics without Maths involves basic statistics, graphs, and logical reasoning. B.Sc. Economics requires higher Maths, while Commerce with Applied Maths covers practical topics like financial mathematics, probability, statistics, and logical reasoning. Career paths include B.Com, BBA, CS, Law, HR, Digital Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. If a daughter dislikes Maths but wants Commerce/Economics, Commerce without Maths is a safe choice. If she is not able to cope up with ICSCE Board, it is advisable to change her into CBSE. If she is struggling with the ICSE board, it is advisable to transfer her to CBSE. All the Best for Your Daughter's Prosperous Future.
