Dear Sir , My son is a Chemical Engineering Graduate and is currently working,he will work for atleast 2 years, he has plans to study abroad but he is hesistent to choose whether he should apply for MBA /MS Please suggest If MS which country or MBA which country should he choose? Thank you

First of all thank you for reaching out to us. To answer your question I would say choosing between pursuing an MS or an MBA will depend on your son's career goals. If he is aiming for business management and leadership roles, an MBA from top schools in the US, UK, Canada or Australia would be ideal. However, if he prefers to deepen his technical expertise or specialize in chemical engineering, an MS might be better, with strong programs available in the US, UK, Switzerland or Germany (which offers excellent engineering programs with low or no tuition fees). Ultimately, his choice should reflect his long-term career aspirations. I wish him all the best for his future.

Hi Mam, My son is studying in BITS CSE final year. He is planning for MBA in 2024 or deferred. But many students are planning for M.S cs in abroad universities. Please advice whether to study MBA (India or abroad) or MS abroad with specialization considering his future.

Ans: Let him choose based on his interest. If he is interested in his technical field, let him do MS. Else MBA is a good option.

Ans: Let him choose the field that he is interested in. So if he is interested in Marketing then he can specialise in Marketing. Else he can do a general BBA course.

I am working in a software MNC for 10+ years. My company has been laying off people last couple of years as cost cutting measure. Now Management is putting undue pressure on me to resign to avoid paying severance. They are trying to implicate me in false PIP if I don't resign myself. What should I do?

Ans: Dismissal could be temporary, while termination is permanent.

Both can be on account of misconduct
