My son(B.Tech in ETC)doing job at Capgemini (2yr.s+)as sr.analyst in Cloud domain but wish to shift his career to Software Developer .Now can you suggest me what to do. He is being frustrated with his campusing at iiest.Expecting your valuable suggestions. With thanks-----

Ans: You have not mentioned whether your son is demotivated by his nature of job or because of the atmosphere at Capgemini. Please advise him to continue the job with Capgemini till he gets/completes certifications in Software with any one of the reputed online Software / IT Courses Please note, most online certification platforms do not provide a job guarantee. Only job assistance is provided by them. Shortlist around 5 online platforms for certifications; contact them to know the benefits of joining the program (not 'features' of the program). Most of the marketing advertisements focus only on features of the product/service and NOT the benefits the customer will get, such as a job guarantee. Secondly, he should update his LinkedIn profile, which should be professional, and also put job alerts related to his domain to get notifications of job vacancies. Even he can apply if the company is reputed & if his profile matches with the JD of job advertised. All the BEST for Your Son's Bright Future.
