Sir I was absent in all my class 12th boards and practical in the year 2023-24 due to a medical illness, now I'm appearing as a regular candidate in the year 2024-25 boards. Will I be eligible for jee advanced 2025 and 2026 as in jee advanced attempt counts start from first appearance in class 12th, will they consider my board 2024 absent as an attempt? Will I be eligible for jee advanced 2025 and 2026? Specifically 2026

Ans: Heera, The eligibility for JEE Advanced 2025 and 2026 relies on how the test authorities see your situation about your attempts in the Class 12 board exams. Candidates can try JEE Advanced two times in successive years maximum. The first year a candidate shows up for the complete set of tests appears in Class 12. That year is not regarded as an attempt or appearance if you missed all Class 12 board tests for medical reasons and did not receive a result. Your legitimate first look will land around 2024–25. Hello sir , I have given my 12th boards in 2023 but did not give jee advanced in 2023 . I attempted hee advanced in 2024 . Am I still eligible to give Jee advanced in 2025 ?

Since you attempted JEE Advanced in 2024, you have one more attempt left, which you could use in 2025, provided you meet all other eligibility criteria (such as your age and the fact that you've completed Class 12 or equivalent in 2023)

Ans: In the case of JEE Advanced, eligibility criteria are based on the year of first appearance for the Class 12th (or equivalent) board exam, provided the candidate has passed the exam. Since you were absent from all Class 12th board exams and practicals in the 2023–24 academic year due to medical reasons, this would not be considered your first attempt or year of passing Class 12th. Your first valid attempt will be in the 2024–25 academic year when you appear and pass as a regular candidate.

Here’s how this affects your JEE Advanced eligibility:

JEE Advanced 2025: You are eligible because your first appearance in the Class 12th board exams will be in 2024–25.

JEE Advanced 2026: You will also be eligible because candidates are allowed to attempt JEE Advanced in the year of their Class 12th passing and the subsequent year. Since your first valid Class 12th attempt is in 2024–25, your eligibility extends to 2025 and 2026.

Ans: Hello Jahanvi.
Please confidently appear for the board exam and try to gain a minimum of 75%. If you fail to score these percentages, then you won't be able to qualify for JEE (Advanced). I am saying this because many students ignore the board exams and fail to score the required percentage. Without thinking much about JEE (Adv), please focus only on JEE (Main). Try to crack this exam with a high percentile. If you do this, all your problems will be solved with ease. You will be eligible for 2 attempts of JEE (Adv) as per the new rule laid down by the admission committee. Best of luck for your upcoming board and JEE examinations.

I am having about 2 lakh in my PF out of which, ,I am allowed to borrow 1.5 lakh for housing purpose. After borrowing 1.5 lakh I am willing to pay the amount back to PF in small installments every month other than employee contribution. But my employer never entertain the voluntary contribution. Is there any other way to return back the amount borrowed from Provident Fund.

Ans: Hello;

You may consider it as partial withdrawal from EPF for house purchase.

No need to repay it. It's your own money which you are allowed to partially withdraw subject to certain conditions.

However your PF kitty will need to be replenished through regular contributions.

It is fundamentally a good stock however my view is that in the short to medium term (2-5 yrs) it may test your patience with not much movement anticipated however for a long term horizon(5 yr+) outlook is quite positive.

You will need a minimum corpus of 6 Cr to generate post-tax monthly income of 2.1 L+ through annuity.(6% annuity rate considered)

After fulfilling monthly expenses you may do a monthly sip of around 10-15 K in a relatively low risk hybrid fund.

This can grow into a corpus of 40-60 L in 15 years which may be used to enhance annuity income for inflation.(9% returns considered)

Till date my total savings is equity portfolio 21lakhs, Mutual fund-6 lakhs, EPF - around 23 lakhs i plan to retire in next 10-12 years, expecting my corpus atleast 3 to 5 crores, can you suggest best way to realign my portfolio Tnx in advance

Ans: Yes after introduction of corporate tax, for future period they will not provide TRC. In case of our client, we have received TRC in March 2024.
