If for any reason, your son fails to crack these exams, then nothing will go wrong. Many options in front of you will open up automatically when he is in 12th grade. Just relax, do not think much about the future, and be always with your son. Don't set any type of difficult target in front of him at this stage. Not possible for an aspirant to keep the pressure of any examination up to the next 6-7 years.

Ans: It is ideal to look for jobs in the area where you have work experience. So can apply to some Airlines for roles with them. In case you do not get that can look for doing 1 year executive MBA with some top college like ISB which has course for people who have 15+ years work ex. Last option would be to do a correspondence MBA and then look for relevant job, but if you do not get a good opening it makes sense to continue with you service.

Ans: Look for relevant jobs in the area you have done your MBA in or in area that you are interested in. Since you have done Operations, can look for Supply Chain Management roles. There are a lot of companies in this domain. Can look at options of working in a start up as well.

Ans: Can take CAT 25, but preferably start working simultaneously else your gap will become bigger. Having a good work ex will help you later to apply for executive MBA courses in case you do not make it to good college through CAT.

Ans: Identify an area you want to move into and do relevant courses and look out for opening in that area in your organization or any other company. For example if you want to get into stock market analysis, can look at CFA course and simultaneously look for roles in that area.
