Career

I'm preparing for placements as a Batchelor of Engineering fresher candidate what would be better career path Software Developer or Data Scientist/Analyst, I have equal interest in both the fields.

Ans: It is often times tough to decide while being an outsider. Evaluate your interest, aptitude, strengths and put in your best efforts. I suggest you prepare to be interviewed for both paths. Pick the on that comes your way first. Give it a try for 2 years and if it does not work for you you can always get to the other option. To keep yourself updated do continue learning on platforms like Coursera, SWayam platform. All the best!

Hello sir , Main ek neet aspirent hu , class 9 10 se main MBBS karungi yah soch Raha Hun , isliye 12 ke bad Ek sal drop lekar neet ki taiyari kar raha hun, but abhi social media mein bahut doctor post kar rahe hai ki MBBS ke bad abhi job bahut limited ho gaye hain sabko job nahin mil raha hai, Main ek middle class family se hun iss situation may Kya Karun? Mujhe government job me interested hay..mbbs krne ke bad sir can you guide me plz what can i do
Ans: SK, Aapka concern bilkul genuine hai kyunki ab MBBS graduates ki sankhya kaafi badh gayi hai aur competition bhi zyada ho gaya hai, khaaskar urban areas mein jobs ke liye. Lekin India mein rural aur semi-urban areas mein abhi bhi doctors ki demand hai, aur government sector mein har saal hazaaron MBBS graduates ke liye vacancies nikalti hain jaise Medical Officer, Junior/Senior Resident, District Medical Officer, etc. (UPSC CMS, State PSC, NHM, AIIMS, Railways, etc.). MBBS ke baad aap PG (MD/MS/DNB) ke liye bhi try kar sakte hain, lekin agar aap government job mein interested hain to aapko UPSC CMS exam, state medical officer exams, ya NHM ke through sarkari naukri mil sakti hai. Government jobs mein salary, job security, aur respect milta hai, aur rural posting par extra incentives bhi milte hain. MBBS ke baad non-clinical fields (public health, medical administration, research, teaching, medical writing, etc.) bhi explore kiye ja sakte hain.

Recommendation: Agar aapka aim government job hai to MBBS ke baad sarkari exams (UPSC CMS, State PSC, NHM, etc.) ki tayari karein, rural/underserved areas mein job ke liye bhi open rahein, aur PG entrance ke liye bhi try karte rahein. MBBS ab bhi ek respected aur secure career hai, bas aapko thoda flexible aur proactive rehna hoga. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
