I passed 10th in 2022 and 12th in 2024 from cbse and I did not given jee mains in the 3 consecutive year but I want to give jee mains in 2027 , if i give nios 12th exam again and fill appearing for jee mains can i give the exam and is this legal or josaa will remove me ?
Ans: Asha, No. If you first passed CBSE Class 12 in 2024, your JEE Main eligibility is tied to that first passing year, not to a later NIOS Class 12. Reappearing through NIOS does not reset eligibility to 2027. Registering as a 2027 appearing candidate despite a 2024 pass could lead to disqualification during verification/JoSAA counselling. Ans: JEE Main 2027: Not eligible, even if you take a fresh NIOS Class 12 and mark yourself as "appearing." Since you first passed Class 12 from CBSE in 2024, your first passing year for JEE Main remains 2024. Reappearing through NIOS in 2027 does not reset your eligibility window. NTA defines the passing year as the year you first passed the Class 12/equivalent examination.
