Sir i am passed in class 12th from cbse board in 2024 in 5 subjects and scored 75%+ . I had appeared for jee mains 2024 and jee mains 2025 as per cbse 2024 result. But i did not qualified for jee mains 2024 and 2025. I do then taken admission in nios board fresh class 12th for arpil 2026 exam in 5 subject Without toc and also i have given tma , pratical and theory exam and result declared as pass and got 89% in it . I have already attempted jee mains 2026 as per appearing 2026 nios board result and qualified but nios result delayed so i could not able to upload documents. So my jee attempt is over for mains and advanced. So as per nios board result for 2026 as passed candidate can i apply for jee mains 2027 only , i know jee advanced 2027 see first appearance in class 12th but i want to give jee mains 2027 and participate in jossa 2027 Counselling. Is it possible sir , i am getting mixed reviews.

Ans: Yes, if the 2027 JEE Main eligibility uses the 2025/2026/2027 passing years, your 2026 NIOS Class 12 pass should make you eligible for JEE Main 2027 and JoSAA. Please read the official 2027 Information Bulletin for final confirmation.

Sir , sorry to say but can you check again , as my jee mains attempt are all over . So according to present jee mains ruled and jossa rules , can i get a chance for jee mains 2027 and jossa 2027 because the rule relay to previous one , only the year shifts
Ans: Your 2026 NIOS results make you perfectly eligible to target NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JoSAA 2027. You are eligible for the Mains but not the Advanced.

Sir but there is problem if i have give me nios 2026 board details . But what about the other details name , parents name , the most important photo id as aadhar card which has unique number which cannot be change and used for verification so because of that jee mains will not they cancel my application number ?

Hello sir , i did my class 10th from cbse in 2022 , i have passed in class 12th cbse board but less than 75% in 2024 and also appeared for jee mains 2024 but not qualified. Then given cbse board improvement exam in 5 subjects in 2025 and also given jee mains 2025 but not got more than 75% in improvements and also not got good percentile in 2025 jee mains . I changed board and taken fresh admission in class 12th from nios board using class 10th cbse marksheet 2022 and chosen 5 subjects and exams are over got my results. Als prepare for jee 2026 but just 1 percentile lost jee mains 2026 . Now i want to ask by using nios board marksheet can i appear for jee mains 2027 and jee advanced 2027 . If yes then in jossa cosuenlling will there be any problem regarding first time class 12th pass rule
Ans: NIOS may help with qualifying marks, but it does not usually make you eligible for JEE Advanced 2027 if your first Class 12 appearance was in 2024. The main question is, why are you doing this exercise again and again since 2022? If possible, forget the JEE path and take admission to any decent private college in the preferred branch and save your time and money for the next few years. If you had taken this decision in 2022, you might be in the final year of engineering this year! Forget JEE and search for another path, if possible. This is my honest opinion/suggestion. The final decision will be yours.
