Hello Nayagam Sir...I really find your analytical and detailed suggestions for opting for colleges very well formulated and comprehensive. My son is in class 12 and going to appear for cbse 12 next year and also preparing for JEE. As a mother I will be the happiest if he makes it to an NIT or any reputed engineering college. But in the worst case, if his JEE mains score or KCET scores aren't good....is it advisable to go for a general degree course in Science or opt for any private engineering colleges he gets through? Please can you also advise on the institutions in and around Bangalore as per your rankings. Also, please advise on the scope and viability of other branches than CS. Many thanks
