Hello Sir , my Son has got 88% in class 12th and 82 percentile in JEE. He has got 60438 in VIT and has been asked for counseling. What are the best possibilities for him. Any chance in any NIT s or he should get into electrical or mechanical in VIT vellore. He is not ready to go other colleges of VIT except Vellore.

Thankyou for the feedback sir. He has already sent his Priorities as below Mechanical Electronics In VIT vellore and waiting for the AMU result. I HV one more question why none of these guys remain interested at all civil engineering. Is scope of civil engineering is 0 or this branch has very limited opportunities after the course.

Ans: Civil engineering UG programs have low demand due to lower starting salaries, physically demanding fieldwork, slower career growth with fewer campus placements, job market dependence on economic cycles, and students’ preference for high-paying, flexible tech fields like Computer Science and AI. These factors overshadow civil engineering’s long-term value.
