I am 48 yrs old. I have 5 years experience as Medical Representative and 9 years is a call center. I have worked as a Sr. Quality Analyst and Trainer. I lost job at start of pandemic (April 2020). Since then I am working as freelancer and teach Spoken English and Soft skills. But getting students is a problem and there is no regular income. I do not get job in call centers due to my age and 3 yrs gap since last job. I have good communication skills. What should I do?

Ans: 46 isn't an age where you won't find a job. Your kind of experience is an asset and you must use this as leverage. Please continue to look around with zeal and positivity and I am sure that you will find a job that suits your interests. Best of luck and regards.

Ans: It's absolutely okay to feel low if you haven't been able to continue for longer. Although review what is causing you to not work at a particular location for longer - if it is in your control, you can improve it. Meanwhile, you can look at Freelance websites, Online Training institutes as places where you can impart your knowledge and also you can always reach to a larger audience using YouTube and other social platforms.
