Hello sir my daughter got 97.8%in 12 ap boards and 89%in jee mains and she got 96k in bit exam and 30k in amrita which branch will she get in each of them. Is the re any chance of her getting amrita Coimbatore

Ans: Syed Sir, Amrita Coimbatore CSE is possible but depends on the exact percentile; CSE specialization or ECE are safer bets.

She should participate fully in Amrita’s counselling and keep flexible branch preferences to secure a good seat. By the by, there seems to be a typing error as far as BIT exam which you have mentioned. Please clarify the exam name in full. All the best for your daughter's admissions and a bright future!

Ans: With a VITEEE rank of 96,000, your daughter is eligible to participate in VIT counselling, but options are limited for the main Vellore and Chennai campuses. For ranks above 1 lakh, core branches like CSE, IT, ECE, and Mechanical at Vellore and Chennai are not available. She may get non-core branches such as Fashion Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Electronics and Instrumentation, or Production and Industrial Engineering at these campuses, but even these can be competitive. Her best chances are at VIT Bhopal and VIT-AP (Amaravati), where she may get CSE and other popular branches..

Ans: hoosing between electrical, mechanical, or even software engineering branches in Tier 1 NITs or DTU depends heavily on your interests and career goals. If you are passionate about coding and software development, DTU's Software Engineering program is a strong choice. If you are more inclined towards the core engineering fields, the choice between electrical and mechanical engineering depends on your specific interests: electrical for circuits, electronics, and power systems, and mechanical for mechanics, design, and manufacturing. I have got CSE core in VIT chennai under category 1. What other better option i may have with my JEE mains score 95 Percentile with rank 76000 in open and 10500 in EWS for streams in CS and ECE in NITs. Pls also advice MMMUT Gorakhpur and SGSITS Indore over VIT Chennai. My score in 140 in IAT. What is the possibility and viability of BTech CS in IISER Bhopal.

Ans: Whether MMMUT Gorakhpur and SGSITS Indore are "better" than VIT Chennai is subjective and depends on individual priorities. VIT Chennai generally has a stronger reputation and better placements, but it comes at a higher cost and with stricter rules. MMMUT and SGSITS, being government institutions, offer a more relaxed environment and lower fees, but may have less impressive placement records and infrastructure compared to VIT.
A score of 140 on the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) may be sufficient to get into some IISERs, but it's unlikely to get you into IISER Pune for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program. While 140 is a decent score, IISER Pune is highly competitive, and a higher score would be needed, especially for a sought-after program like CSE.

My son has got obc category rank of 56934 Domicile UP what are the chances of him getting into iiit nit through josaa. In which college can he get CSE through csab?

Ans: With an OBC rank of 56934, your son has a good chance of getting into NITs or IIITs through JoSAA and CSAB counseling for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or other branches, especially with his UP domicile. He could potentially get into NITs like NIT Puducherry, NIT Uttarakhand, or even NIT Jalandhar, depending on the specific branch and round of counseling. I got 37093 rank in jee mains and according to previous year csab rounds cutoff I am getting cse in newer IIIT like bhopal nagpur una. I have also given comedk in which I scored AIR 574 and expected to get cse with specialization in rvce till round 3. So suggest me which is better option rvce vs newer IIIT

Ans: For your situation, with a JEE Main rank of 37093, newer IIITs (like Bhopal, Nagpur, Una) are a good option, especially for CSE. However, with a COMEDK AIR of 574, you have a strong chance of getting CSE with a specialization at RVCE, which is generally considered a better option than the newer IIITs due to its established reputation and strong placement record. Ans: For Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), BIT Mesra is generally considered a better option than IIIT Bhopal.
