Hi, I started my career as Actuarial Analyst by clearing few papers through Institute & Faculty of Actuaries, UK. But now I'm having doubts and can't find my interest in the subject anymore. I'm interested in a career related to real estate or coding/Data Science. Please suggest what my next steps should be.

Ans: All of us go through these phases around the time we are to retire! It would be a good idea to take up a course which helps you sharpen your core skills or take up something which will bring a smile on your face. Jobs are hard to come by, also at 54, it is more difficult. If you have enough money to see you through life, then take up something philanthropic work and give back to society. Lastly, be positive and look at the bright side of things!
