I am 41 years old, with almost zero savings. Want to invest in mutual funds with no knowledge of the same. Want to have a corpus of INR 1,00,00,000/- within next 20 years of time for my child’s education. Can save 15k per month with a top up of INR 1,00,000/- per year after year 2024.

Kindly suggest funds to achieve said goal.

Ans: The schemes that you may consider are as under

- Samco Flexi Cap Fund - Growth

- Hdfc Index Fund - Sensex Plan - Growth

- Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund- Growth

Uti Mnc Fund - Growth Plan

The corpus that can be created in 20 years with Rs. 15,000 SIP and period lump sum post 2024 is nearly Rs. 2 crs.

I have been investing in various mutual funds over last two years. I am currently 32 and plan to continue investing for next 22 years minimum to create substantial corpus for child's future and retired life. Hello Sir, I am a moderate risk and high returns investor. My age is 50 yrs & I decided to start 5- SIP’s of Rs.2000.00 per month to generate CAGR 15-30% for time period of 5-10 years to build good retirement corpus of 1 Crore at least keeping in view of my daughter education & wedding as well as my retirement. Ans: Well there is no age to start a business and there are many case studies of late starters who built multi billion dollar empires. See what skills you can leverage and plunge in. However, invest only in a way that even if you loose the investment, your basic livelihood would not be impacted.

Dear Sir, My relative's son is pursuing B Tech in Computer Science, 3rd year from Bengaluru. He is finding it difficult to pursue/memorise the theoretical aspects, including hard-core s/w coding part. He is very good in creative design/ graphics, origamy and software utilisation related aspects. Also, he is very good in minute instrument related design handling. May I request to kindly suggest any innovative new PG Diploma/course in computer/design/Graphic/management related fields where the focus of suggested course(s) is more on implementation of software rather than hard coding/memorisation of it. There are many Graphic design institutes in India which you may find through Google. Vellore institute of Technologies is one of such institute. You may look at that.

For a good career, minimum qualification is Graduation and for a better career, Post graduation is required. It is suggested to let her complete the education and then search for jobs.

Hi I did B.Com in 2012 and then completed MBA (specialisation in Finance) in 2014. Thereafter I joined Genpact as Process Associate and was part of it till 2022. Then, I switched to HCL and still continuing in it as Process Developer and my CTC is aroind 4.5L. I need your esteem advise to enhance my capabilities and sharpen my skills to grow further in this field, ultimately, getting better CTC. Please guide me. Thanks

Ans: Hi,
Since you are in process development, I'm not very sure whether you do the process mapping or even the coding. In case you are doing only process mapping then MBA is the right degree, but in case you are into development then you need to do further courses in latest technologies.
